Interesting to see this -- I recently ordered a WTB Silverado saddle from this store, it's a special edition/color that WTB made for Blue Lug. My first real bike riding was on Mt Tamalpais in Marin County, which is where WTB is based (all the founders of WTB were Marin locals that rode Mt Tam in the early 80s). I'm now building up a new bike, going from strictly road to all-road/gravel, so I thought it would be cool if I return to the Mt Tam trails with a saddle that has some local heritage -- and arrived to me via Tokyo!
Cool shop i must visit when next in Japan. Ive seen a lotbof bike shops in Japan over the years but not aa good as this. Thank you for doing this video 🙏
As a long-time industry insider in the USA, the product assortment is interesting. There are no mountain or road bikes to speak of; most of what they have is for custom builds geared towards the urban cyclist, which of course is completely understandable.
They used to display some products of Paul Components and Chris King brands openly, even in areas where cameras couldn't capture, without hesitating to showcase thousands of dollars worth of items. The store is always crowded, and it seems like they have no worries about the theft of parts.
This must be how heaven looks like
wow nice !
crazy how each bike looks like a main character
variety offered is mind-blowing
Most amazing bike shop that I have ever seen!
Great assortment!
Wow! I would spend hours in a shop like that. So much old skool stuff you just can't get hold of any more. Amazing! Japan is amazing!
the bikes and parts on display are not vintage. in production bikes and parts
Cool store !
Only in Japan can you openly display that much inventory without fear of getting stolen.
Truth
there are plenty of bike shops in america that look exactly the same, and things get stolen in japan too
Not so much 😂@@miatomi
Hi...
Wonderful store 👏👏👏
I would like to visit it...
I love bikes, and here i Brazil, we don't have nothing like that. Thank's to share with us.
Id love to visit the shop some time.!
My favorite shop 🤩ciao da Milano Italy 💛👋🏻

Marvelous! 😍
I don't want to imagine doing an inventory... 😅
They have nearly 30 employees in total for 3 branches. I don't think it will be very difficult.
Wow. That's impressive. Nice to see Surly in the shop.
yes. there are many surly frames. they like to build them.
If I ever walked into this shop I’d probably be in there for a week
I really want to check this place out.
Very nice vintage steel is real shop.
Harika video olmuş. Ülke her şeyiyle güzel ya. Bir doz Japonya aldık sayende. Özlemişiz. 🔥🔥🔥
Absolute heaven. An Aladdin's cave containing fabulous riches. In England or the USA this shop would stripped by thieves in mere minutes.
Plenty more countries too even in Asia.

I need the same shop in Paris !!
Heaven
this place is epic! was that ramen on the counter by the work shop?
In some places it is possible to see products unrelated to bicycles. Or I have come across products that are bicycle products but are not on sale.
Their work area is bigger than my whole shop!
my shop also at same size :)
heaven
Me: “Can you drop me off at 08.00 at Blue Lug?” Wife: “ What time shall I pick you up?” Me: “ Around 17.00? Actually make it 18.00” 🤪🤪🤪
no locks anywhere?🔴🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔓🔒
japans dont use locks mostly. some bikes have dutch type(rear tire lock) and thats all.
Imagine doing inventory?
Y19,500 for that wrench. my goodness
How i can get one to Egypt..?
get what?
You guys your shop looks so great!
