Dear KJ, I think you can call JAY to JINHWAN to make it easier for you to remember his name haha. Ceo Yang says he wants to test B.I's leadership with the whole team because he is main leader but at the same time he says Team B has 3 leaders, B.I, JAY and BOBBY. And you can see the different reactions of the three of them cuz B.I and JINHWAN are more direct and really warn the new trainees about the bond they already have with the other guys while BOBBY is more on the helpful side. So for the first month of evaluation they are going to split into two teams, B.I leads half of the team and JINHWAN leads the other half but the dancing part they will all do together. I think since episode 1 we could all sense that B.I, JINHWAN and BOBBY were already part of iKON and that the tension was on the other members who were the ones who were going to compete against the new members. Here you only met two new members, another new member is still missing.
True, Jay is easier to remember than Jinhwan for people who are not used to their names. The name thing reminds me of Junhoe having another name in win and suddenly in m&m he had another name, that was so confusing.
Yeah i will call him Jay ahah cause i keep forgetting and it is not getting better lol Thank you for this. You can see the looks and body languages of each of them and tell who is more direct. I understand more of what this first challenge will be thank you!! Yeah they want to spice it up and bring the last guy in at the wrong time huh ahah
In episode 2 the CEO yang will explain more about how the evaluations will work. FYI: the new member CHANWOO, who is type b blood is the same guy you called "mystery guy" in iKON's Killing verse.

Donghyuk was already in WIN WHO IS NEXT, he just meant that he was the last one to join Team B out of the others so he felt he know how the new joiners would feel like. Original members were BI, Jinhwan, Bobby, then came Junhoe, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk.
as soon as i finished watching i was like nah they was definitely there haha. I just be forgetting but i need to do a better job at that. Thank you for the clarification
Watching this again remind me how strong their bond since very 1st. Many things happen, 2019 B.I left the group to protect their image but appearently they still hanging out together. 2022 iKON left YG and join new label and still together. The world took so many things from them but not their friendship and their passion to music
You can never take frienship away or their passion for music. That is deep inside of them.
During this program it was a very difficult time for Bobby and BI Because they were both competing on "Show Me The Monney 3" survival rapper at the same time,
at that time idol rappers were not widely accepted. This makes Bobby and B.I have to at least use their ability to overcome criticism and insults.
At that time B.I had a lot of trouble remembering the lyrics. Bobby has trouble pronouncing clearly. But in the end, you see how they develop towards the end.
Bobby was a champion at ages 18-19. While being a trainee and being the only idol until now (Mino was 2nd the following year),
B.I's song "BE I" went to number 1 on Melon Charts, which is the first song of the program that can do this After that, the show became more and more famous until it reached its 11th season (Mino returned as Mentor in Season 10)
They were doing two competitions at the same time ?? what kind of crazy stuff is that lol I understand why they are so great at what they do now
@@kjreacts7715 yesss..both show are very intense. Although they're alrd fixed member, they still had to lead the other members from choosing the song, re-arrange it even choreograph it. And on top of that, they had to produce their own songs for Show Me the Money. Bobby and B.I had very hard time during Show Me the Money. Everyone look down on them bcs they are idol rapper. Underground rapper don't acknowledge idol rapper as the real rapper bcs most of idol rapper only rap bcs they can't sing. However Bobby proved them wrong by winning the show 🎉🎊🤫 the one and only idol rapper to do so. The youngest contestant to win the show until today 🙌

U will understand the concept better in the episode 2 onwards. Basically there are 6 original member from team B but the 3 of them B.I, Bobby and Jinhwan are alrd selected as the fixed member of iKON. The other 3 members will compete with the new trainees to become part of ikon. Actually there are 3 new trainees but the last trainee will come later. So there will be 9 trainee in total. They will be divided into 3 group lead by B.I, Bobby and Jinhwan. The group will change every time thus the name Mix and Match
thank you that makes more sense. Im excited to see these new members and how they managed to not make the team. Part of me feels like he was going to debut them as a team anyways he just wanted another show and to put them through another challenge lol

I really like all performances in mix & match, specially from B.I team. The first time I see Chan Woo, I knew hes gonna make it! But honestly Jin Hyeong's voice are so good too!
I am looking forward to seeing their performances! the performances honestly are way better after you see the behind the scenes of it

Oh no, you're starting one of the YG shows that pissed me off the most but I'll go with you on this journey. In the ep 2 they will explain better how the competition works because there are three members who are already officially iKON but they still don't know it.

Just adding a couple of notes on Parris Goebel: Superbowl choreographer for J-Lo, Shakira, and Rhianna. Also choreographer for Beyonce, Ciara and of course you can she her and some of her team as the Justin Beiber "sorry" girls. How did she get to work with these groups? We can thank TAEYANG. He saw a video of her doing a performance with some dancer friends and made arrangements to get in touch with her because he wanted that style of dance theme for his song Ringa Linga - they met - they worked together and that was her entry into the world of KPOP. Parris and her dancers at top tier in the world of dance and were the first 'foreigners' to appear on the MAMA awards stage - with CL and of course my personal favourites: BIGBANG.
WOW!! Her resume is stacked. Thank you Taeyang! I bet she probably never thought about jumping into the Kpop world and she ended up working with some of the greatest groups! I am excited to see more of her and pay attention to her choreography. Thank you for the notes!
Team B biggest strength is their team work and YG know that. So YG make this 'evil' plan trying to break them apart. Making them compete against their own brothers whom they trained together since day 1 is really evil. Thankfully everyone did well and manage to debut together ❤ ❤❤

Paris and her team we're one of YG's in house choreographers (both for artists and trainees) for years along with Hitech, YGCD and now YGX....

@@kjreacts7715 there's really not much of her in M&M after episode 1, i used to just watched whatever YG content put out and sometimes she's there, like snippets if a dance practice and stuff mostly during MADE era, along with Lydia Paek she's also one of the producers and choreographer(s)/mentor before.. she also did a song with GD, one of my favorites R.O.D.. also there's this GD song title Missing You, you should check that out too..
@@kjreacts7715 i think it started with Youngbae, RINGA LINGA in 2013( where Team A's Mino and Taehyun, Team B's Bobby and B.I along with Lisa participated in the MV too) then she also choreographed for 2ne1 the rest follows..
B.I for me is the truest and the realest guy and that's what i liked about him. he'll say anything and everything to you face to face and even when he is being interviewed and talking about what he is feeling , he'll still say the same thing. but the best thing about him is he may not seem approachable and doesn't seem to care and even speak harsh things but if you ask him about his members he knows every bit about them, like when's their birthday, what they like etc. as i've'd said before he is selfless.
Hes does the work, doesnt complain, corrects whatever isnt right, always honest. Like you want everything BI is in a leader

Parris Goebel is from New Zealnd and is the main choreographer/dancer of YG back then before YGX was made.
YG is the first to promote in western countries. And having Parris and other western artists was brought to YG, too to be able to get western market, even their band that was even a band until BLACKPINK concerts
Dang so who was the first break out group that made Paris want to work with YG?
YG is planning to make a 7 member group so what happened at the end was the 6 Team B members + 1 new trainee haha. Also you missed the Wait for Me song at the end of the episode, hope you can react to that before jumping into ep 2 😂. Can’t wait for the next ep

A little info, you may hear old iKONICs refer to “Triple Kim,” and they are Bobby, B.I and Jinhwan, all last name Kim. (It’s Donghyuk’s last name too, but as he says, he was the last to join and wasn’t part of this friendship yet) They were trainees the longest out of Team B - Jinhwan and B.I joined YG on the same day (2011/1/3) and Bobby joined one week later. Those three trained together for over a year before Yunhyeong and Junhoe joined, and were super-tight. Suuuper tight. Bobby and Jinhwan were also there for each other because their parents weren’t in Seoul like the others, Bobby you know his parents were in Virginia, and Jinhwan’s parents live on Jeju Island. Anyway, you’ll see more of Triple Kim later, but that’s some backstory info for you (from an old iKONIC lol)

Let’s start our day right everyone by starting again with mix & match…. Nostalgia is waving and I’m loving it coz no one can beat such an amazing talents…. We know for a fact that YG really intend to debut “Team B or iKON” yet as you see he sees and hears $$$$$ that’s why he created another survival show for them… this time the 3 original members will be matching to another 3 newbies while B.I , Jinhwan & Bobby are bound to wait for their 4 members to be debuted as “iKon” YG doesn’t let anyone debut freely and i wanted to curse him even more coz he knows how he could sweet torture his trainees as much as we fans feel more mixed emotions….But all is well

Look this episode said it all. I felt the same way. He wanted to put Ikon through hell even though he knew they were ready to debut. I think these competitions as well does teach these artist alot and helps sharpens their skills. So i understand it as well but like dang... couldnt be me lol
