You have to put the clothes and detergent in before you turn it on. The washer has sensors and senses how many clothes you have in the washer. You have a water efficient washer which means it uses less water. Keep trying new settings you will figure how to get the washer to fill up with more water.
This is what I came to say. Put clothes in first then it fills based on amount of clothes.

I just put the soap and whatever in, toss clothes in, and start the load. If it’s a smart washer it’ll fill to the level the clothes are. It may not be filling because you are trying to fill it before putting the load of clothes in. Give that a try. ❤

Naomi, My Washing Machine DoesnThe Same Thing. They Say They Are Energy Efficient. It Does a good Job Though. I Have To Put The Clothes And Detergent In First Then Turn it On And At One Point in The Washing Cycle It Locks The Lid And Continues Washing. I didnt Like it At First But I Like it Now. Very Smart Idea To Exercise in The Comfort And Cleanliness Of Your Own Home. Plus You Can Be Doing Other things While You Are Exercising Too. Naiome I have that same washer u can wash more clothes u just load the clothes with the detergent set the setting u want and walk away the washer will fill up to the level of the clothes

Hi Naomi. I think the problem with the low water level is how the washers now are made to be economically “friendly “! I hate it. I know soo many people with different brands of washers that have the same complaint. I really wish they would let US decide how much water we want!!
