On player retention, the only people on my friend list still playing are either SSF since day 3 or in a private league Guild SF. Consensus was trade is chalked & wont get bettter. Video as entertaining as always, loving it.
There are just so many "eh I'm closing the game" moments in this league for those leaving players - necropolis' annoying and clunky UI, corpse capacity, patches on top of patches "fixing things", just lots of annoying things stacked on top of each other. And player don't like annoying game experience.
Still better than Crucible imo. The only reason why I stuck with Crucible league was because I was returning to PoE after years and had a lot to discover. But the crucible mechanic was the worst I ever saw in a videogame.
Damn, how did you have the mental stability to trade for those corpses. Graveyard feels like mentally balancing 3-4 spreadsheets or locking yourself into trade site hell.
If you don't perma min max every craft it's super fun to use. I play ssf and it's very rewarding to engage with the mechanic I made some insane 6 tier 1 items

Just don't trade for corpses, I played in a semiSSF Private league (4 active players) I crafted with what I looted and sometimes ask for 1 or 2 corpses to my buddies, that way no trade site hell :D
After a few months of playing and most recently spending around 100ish hours in these league, I can FINALLY follow wtf you are talking about. These videos are cool little how to examples of gearing all these different builds. Now, if I can find out how to make money to actually put one of these together, we’ll be in business! Thanks for all the cool content comrade o7
This league really shows the issues of the current trade system. I haven’t done any drafting myself, but just going through a stash to get the exact corpses someone wanted is annoying. I can’t imagine how long it takes to buy a whole graveyard.

@1:15 I left early this league. Scarab shake up is nice but when the econ dies for mid-tier play, I lose interest fast. Best part about PoE is that I can just come back next league if I don't like things and it won't take years.

Im starting to appriciate the whole rng crafting system, but nothing should be 1/1000 like rolling a +2 minion helm. There should be be ways of deterministicly getting most of the item and then 1 mod should be crafted. But the best thing in recent times is good crafting strats are actually affordable for the common man. I like the graveyard crafting, just not any part of actually doing it. PoE is in such a weird spot atm
you can get 2-3 mana gain on hit with spells on rings. as you have 81 mana cost on your spark, if a cast does more than 27 hits (14 if kalandra's touch) you refound it's cost with just this mod. It would open space for other cool suffix instead of mana regen (int for mana, double damage, etc). That said, I believe a bit mana regen on top of this would be best for the gamefeel.
This might be a stupid question asked frequently, but how do you get that much divine so quickly ? I'm at the point where i can farm anything easily beside Uber en T17, where do i go from now to farm ? Edit : I should add that i'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to crafting and estimate things on my own
yeah I need a new archmage wand as well (ice nova one tho), but the amount of time needed to put into setting up the graveyard sets me off every time...
Should have used splits for the influence fractured wands. I spent 16 hours trying to get double frac stormrider boots 35%ms + elusive not once hit a usable pair, but the second i did splits for +6 items i hit a pair that's easy to craft Frac 35% ms, misery essence and reforge crit for elevated elusive. Now to spam reforge influence + exalt slams for elevated tailwind So i can finish off with lvl 30 aspect of the crab and 25 Str+Int
Hi comrade, have a look at instrument of zeal jewel, hold right click spark et press movement skill evert second. Solve mana issues, give you a free haste and tons of cast speed
I'd lose my mind after two dozen rerolls on an item I'm just not cut out for going deep in this game. I don't know how you have the endurance to slam 1k thingamabobs into an item and not have your eyes glaze over and miss when the stat you're looking for arrives
@@konskript2403 it does matter quite a bit. Not only it means way less hitpoints, but your regen / leech are also much weaker. Also pro tip - ignore ehp figure (it is inflated most of the time), it's all about max hit and recovery. Preferably untick things like molten shell, arcane cloak, etc. etc. Typical mana builds have 4k life 4-5k ES and also more mana with similar or stronger other defences.
Those retention numbers are kind of dire but also its just the nature of crafting leagues , This league very much feels like snyth 2.0 and I think people are gonna look back fondly on this .
So miss "Reroll suffix/ Prefix" on harvest and Recombunators....good shit. Got 40/40 and quit the League already and now I hope that graveyard crafting dies with it. Btw, if you're crafting an expensive base ring and fail the fracture, craft low lvl chaos res on it and sell it with an amethyst flask to get the unfractured base back
Problem with the game is just knowing what you’re capable of doing Like I’ve been selling bits and bobs here and there but really, after playing for a while your brain just kinda shuts down and you get tired of price checking things. And then I give crafting a crack and use all my currency up, sometimes get something good but not quite what I need and just go back to farming it and put it up for sale I think I’ve probably made like 15-20 div this league and I just stall everytime
yeah this league kinda sucked. Found out at maps that you have to do the league mechanic, and the mods are crazy enough that you can't ignore. The mobs it creates are worse than archnemesis and the league mechanic is tedious. I hate that I physically can't alc and go. I'll get brutallized by phys added as mods... The crafting seems strong, but pointless to do until you get higher tier maps going. Got bored a lot and haven't really done red maps yet. Got a handful of t16's down but it just sucks picking where to put the dumb op mods.
YES! i miss recombinators soooo much, was so exciting to see the outcome! don't get why they removed them :( and im afraid necropolis will go core since its on the atlas tree :( about retention, obviously the league mechanic is not very exciting, but i also think its because of lack of new builds, they keep nerfing everything that works every league, i would bet money on that they will nerf adorned! last league we got new gems and stuff wich helps the theorycrafting and replayability, but this league is nothing but nerfs and bad league mechanic :(
Achieving what, he isn't printing mirrors in the first week of the league. You can do zero to hero with most strats if you play around 50 to a hundred hours per league. Now if you don't have that much time every 3 months then you can't play most games with a volatile and short term economy.
i keep telling my friends Sentinel is the better tormented dead, recombinator are strong, but could be nerfed to not be used on Fractured items, or cannot create double fractures etc. Please give us Sentinel back, remove Tormented dead. Give us Metamorph back and remove Rogue exiles Also just rework Ritual and Ultimatum into the same mechanic.
people are such snowflakes, every League except sc trade feels so good, people are so impatient and fragile they cant craft with new harvest and not break over "partyplayers making everything so cheap i cannot horde enough to mirror someone's item that i could potentially craft by myself". got to level 100 in ssf, crafting and going through the content feels so good it's just impossible to compare with trashy sc trade where people dont want to play game and want everything being handed to them without playing as rn you can craft, farm, boss, anything you want...

Season feels like a chore. Last time i felt the same way was with expedition. And even that was better than this shitshow.

Those wands did NOT look profitable. 3 additional craft copies 3 times was probably about as much as he made back LMAO
