Idea, probably reinventing the wheel? When you declutter foundations and concealers, how about photographing a row of decluttered product swatches with a swatch of the best similar product that stays in your collection? Photos like that could become the encyclopedic texture and color reference. If you made it a little video, you could even narrate some of the features you liked/disliked. This, to make it easier to get rid of products that you're ambivalent about. Happy New Year!

To fix the givenchy powder you use a rubber jar opening pad and force the lid. Ive done this with my saie powder and a couple others. It happens because the powder lid gets on the wrong track when you try to screw it on.

Yes to the Well People Bio Tint! Think I tried it this year bc of your review ❤ Funny how our different skin types enjoy it differently…I would never wear this in the summer being combo skin and hating being dewy! But, for cold weather months, it’s perfect.

New subscriber here. I just wanted to know if you’ll ever do a comparison on drug-store vs high end makeup. I’d love to see your take on best in each category, like best concealers, blush, eyeliners etc…on both prestige and drug-store items.
Some women's shelters & "returnship" work restoration charities will accept cosmetics, along w/other hygiene products. But you have to check a)if they only accept brand new & unused products, or b)only accept certain product categories, like foundation/base products, etc. Taylor Wynn has previously worked w/a charity called "Project Beauty Share", that will accept, sanitize, & distribute pretty much everything except for products that are impossible to/just plain unhygienic- e.g. liquid lipsticks, glosses, liquid liner, mascara, etc. All you have to do is mail them the products. Whenever I donate my makeup, I clean it up & sanitize it before I send it. If I can, I also like to include a few brand new products from the categories that can't be sanitized, esp. mascara, eye liner, & concealer. I also take a look at what hygiene products the shelter/organization is needing at the time, typically deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, period products, toothpaste/brushes, soap, etc. are always needed. Along w/socks & underwear/bras. So I'll try to include something from those categories. I'll pick up stuff like that whenever there's a good deal, & put them aside to donate once enough builds up. I also will usually include any samples I have lying around, esp. fragrance & skincare. Just to include a bit of indulgence along w/the necessities.
