It’s funny because he’s the definition of boom or bust. He will either be a top pairing d man and an elite offensive defender or not make the NHL. There’s no place in the NHL for a 5’8 player to be on the second or third pairings, but his skill is otherworldly, and mirrors Adam Fox and Quinn Hughes to an extent. It will be fun to see his development
He can play centre I believe, I think the habs should definitely give him a shot at centre at least; and if it doesn't work out then move him to the wing.
He played against men in Czech as a 17 year last year and did quite well. Going junior would be going backwards. No chance that happens. It’s Laval or Europe next year.

Lane Huson was an absolute stud in that camp.
I for sure thought he was going in the 1st round, this kid could end up like a freaking steal

What a beast
Wow , the speed of Byron , and the toughness of Gallager & the handling of Suzuki . That should be useful for the next season .
Not next year lmfao let him develop
2years in Laval.
And THEN he’ll make the jump
Mix of Barzal & Lekhonen.
Barzal’s smooth skating & speed.
And Lekhonen’s intensity & work ethic.
Future is bright & the future is this year
Reminds me of a Brayden Point type. Don't want to jump the gun, just my initial thoughts.
Nah i think you may be bang on. Hes got some amazing potential to be something special if developed correctly, thats for sure.
Hell no more like Jordan weal lol
@@underatedhockey4148 Don't think so.
Talent
2024-2025 Rookie if the year.
No.. that'll be Connor Bedard
@@Falleninator Bedard is gonna have his rookie season 2023-2024.
@@AWCTB yes, that is right.. damn seasons on 2 calendar years mess me up lmao.. muh bad! 😆
He is a W/C so he definitely will play the wing if the current habs situation continues
Do Šimon Nemec please
Top 6 center? But he is a winger!
Top 6 foward i think
He was drafted as a Centre

@@tylerlussier1896 He has been playing winger for at least 2 years I watched him in Slovakia. How can he be center is beyond me.
I know laval makes the most sense, but I'd love to see him go dominate the OHL for a year and play for kitchiner

1 more Slovak and we have a whole line. Wouldn't mind him and Slaf on a line in Laval
We need dvorski too next year
Slaf starts in Montreal. Maybe he'll go to Laval later, depending on his performance at the Bell Centre.

All this talk ... we'll see in time how these kids will do in the big league ... totally different level
Why is it wrong to talk about the kid potential? We all know the nhl is a big league sheesh
Jan Bulis v2
I actually really liked Jan Bulis I still remember when the habs got him and Zednik from the Washington Capitals what a change it made to the team.
Well, it's not so bad, I guess, that Czech guy was quite solid in the Habs uniform...
Bulis was good I like dhim
That is the problem here.. they all look so good in the small leagues
Ano lebo juniorská liga v Kanade je top.😂😂😂😂
Good luck drafting players who already played in the NHL, lol.
useless comment bud
Meh
this won't age well
