    Update: Labor and Health insurance are about 1000 NTD each not 600 NTD each. My school was deducting less by mistake 🤦🏽‍♀️ it has since been corrected

      No I didn't. I only knew how to say hello 😂 I'm still in the process of trying to learn the basics to get me around. Google Translate has been my fighter in most situations

      It's taking me some time to adjust to some things. But because we get a lot of veggies and I'm trying to stay healthy I focus on that 😅 but it's really not what I'm used to

    I've been in south korea and china and compering with this I'll choose China ober qnd over again, depending on your lifestyle you can safe a minimum of R20 000 ler month and mind you i lived in Beijing.

    I would love to talk to you, i have some questions to ask. I have worked as a teacher for so many years but resigned.
    I wanna ask you about VISA application, working hours in Taiwan, level of racism and how they treat you there. I was so hurt one day seeing a video of one of SA teachers in China with a swollen eye, (bamushaya emsebenzini) and she had to come back to SA.

    Which is the best time of the year to apply? When are their schools beginning, and when can I start the process of applying if I want to start at the beginning of their term or year?

      I'm sorry for the late reply. So theere are 2 big intakes. One is in September and another one is in February. Of you haven't started applying I'd suggest you start preparing so that you start in the February intake. But they do hire even during the year

      There's a few agencies that you can use, so it's not a link as such but I made a video about that. It is on the channel. But I use Pheonix Group Asia which you can find on Google

      @@Maps05 it can take about 3 months, but it can take less than that. It depends on the agency and the number of openings they have I guess

      Public schools do reimburse you for flights after probation. I'm not sure about private schools. Housing allowance also comes with public schools mostly.

      Thank you for subscribing 🙂 well it looks like the school is a legit private school here. I guess the decision whether to accept or not should be based on the contract. If you feel the offer is good than go for it. If not than keep applying

      You need to have a teaching license. Any bachelor’s degree is accepted.

      For Taiwan try Pheonix Group Asia and Teach Taiwan otherwise there a website that allow you to create profiles like Dave's ESL Cafe

      Hey. Yes, I'm on the same contract. Basically they will spread your 18/20 classes across the schools (maybe 10 on each school or somethin) . You may have to go to the other school for some days but the main school will be in charge of most things. I hope you get me

      Yes that is the starting salary range here in Taiwan. I am in primary school but there isn't much difference when it comes to salaries
