Supplementary info/LN changes (A bit late since I forgot to post it, but here it is anyways and KonoBakuen references will be mentioned.)
3:13 - KonoBakuen reference, Megumin said this to Yun Yun first and neither understood the romantic Explosion. 5:10 - It was vague in the LN, too, but the illustration for the LN showed him tickling her side/back. Only one small change this time, with the ring joke being shortened (Mitsubishi here adds that the ring changes size, but not before Aqua makes it disappear with a party trick and she can’t make it return, so he despairs internally on this perfect and expensive ring and still praises her regardless.) Also, Katsuragi’s party members are off in another country farming levels and he mentioned the ‘bright light,’ which you see in KonoBakuen.
Additional things: Alderp is pretty much UB Noble Kazuma if he went too far with his perversions/authority (he lecherously looked at both Aqua and Darkness), as shown by the mirror scene, there is a short story/Drama CD where Kazuma went on an Explosion Date with Megumin, Chris wore an all black outfit, and Kazuma leaked his insecurity/jealousy of ikemen, causing his party to raise his self esteem. 9:56 - I’ve heard ‘yobai’ a few times because of twins I watch, so it’s funny to see it translated as that and not night raid/crawling. 13:43 - This is one of the more controversial/mixed arcs (LN 6-7), but this is also how the series is from now on (17 LNs+ spin-offs.)
When’s the next reaction to Konosuba?
I think the sauciness will pay off in the middle/second half of this season.
Considering the pacing, it might be (spoiler below for the anime only people.)
next episode (Episode 5 would be this with all the low points, Episode 6/halfway point would be the end/climax of LN 6.) Episode 7 starting LN 7 and we’d go all the way for LN 7 until episode 11. KonoBakuen pretty much ended the streak of E9 being the ‘spicy’ episode per Season, for the series.
Took me a while to realize but, you can see Darkness's figure/legs through her night gown sometimes, such as slightly the scene at 6:24 (can't quite see it here) or the scene at 13:06 (pretty visible here). It was more apparent in season 1.
Oh one of my favorite action moments in Konosuba is comming up.
