I would have done a desert with the chocolate and cake, then done an inside out burger (burgers as the buns) with the rest. Really good result for what you had to work with! If you do this again I think it would be fair to do an audible, like 10 blindfolded picks and 1 or 2 selection items at the end so you have a chance.
Maybe you could do a series for this. Because is like a creativity. I have an idea. You can write down different types of ingredients the pick the paper. But could use the basic like oil,salt,pepper Or could choose like oil, butter, salt, pepper, herbs like in one session.
