Although I do not chat, I do try to say, good morning, or good afternoon, to the TSA agents. I figure they get a lot of grumpy people coming by, so I figure a little kindness may go along way.
I'm tsa I like people have a quick chat. Makes me feel human lol also don't leave your tray for me to push in to xray without asking me first because it's technically unattended baggage.
@@donnnacarter7995thank you for that tip. Be kind …. My experience with tsa has been they should be kind as well. I actually get treated better in other countries than right here in the U S A 😏 and I was born here! 🤷🏼♀️
Yes, absolutely. Only in the USA is there constant yelling and the need to be extra assertive. I have a theory about this. And, yes, I have been through security in over 30 different countries.
I can’t relate. All of the tsa agents I’ve meet were very kind and welcoming. The other staff at the airport…I can’t say the same. But I’ve also never flown out of another country so 🤷🏼♀️
I don't like to paint any group with too broad of a brush. Unfortunately there are enough TSA jackasses that it's hard not to. Even the seemingly decent ones just step back and watch, it's disgraceful!
First time ever going thru security and they rushed me, made me so nervous I was sweating and was just straight up rude to me. I had no idea what I was doing and I still don’t and it just increases more anxiety about my next flight.
These clips sre super helpful, keep up the good work. After all the planning and the exspences to cover, the dread of being delayed and having the flight leave without you is the worst feeling ever. Thanks for helping us to be properly ready and stress reduced.😅

Number 6 if you don’t have Precheck is to undo your shoes or better yet, wear slip on like the knitted type tennis shoes, take belts off and don’t wear jewelry that might warrant extra security. I don’t wear jewelry until I’ve gone thru TSA and put it on while waiting to board.
I always go to the airport with empty pockets, and the stuff I normally carry is in a zippered pocket of my shoulder bag. The only thing we do in line is remove shoes.
I had a bad experience in Arizona once. I was leaving and it had been my first time there and I wasn't used to the heat and I got a horrible rash on my thighs, and one guy even after I had been through the detection machines was mocking how I was walking as if I was hiding something and asked why the heck I would be doing that. I wish I would have told him I had a nasty rash because I wasn't used to Arizona heat and asked if he wanted to see it. But I was just dumbfounded and kind of just stared. But hopefully he beat himself up about it later assuming I just had some kind of disability since nothing showed up in the machines.
@@lvncsr6166 I believe that you need to go to airport with2 forms of ID and to have photo taken. You can renew online. Once approved you can keep your shoes on and no need to take liquids out.
@@liznichols4916 You get a background check before you can get a TSA NUMBER. You can still be pulled out for a random pat down or checked for explosives. If your background check is clear, you can keep your shoes on, pack your liquids, keep your phone in your purse. It’s simply much faster being able to keep your shoes on & suitcase closed.
Last year my first time on a plane and I took Gatorade and some chips for my daughter , unopened but tsa made me toss them 😢 I didn’t know any better I just assumed as long as they weren’t open it was fine . Oh well lesson learned .
I have long hair and wear it in a claw clip a lot , 90% of the time if I forget to take it out I get asked to,I have had my hair up in a bun and they looked at it .
Why wouldn’t TSA require you to take your liquids bag out? I thought this was a requirement. I’m flying in two days and taking a carry on for the first and looking for clarification. Thank you!
I think a hello/good day and how's your day going...ect. is not gonna slow anybody down. (Like if you just want to be polite.) And those have a quick response like ,,i'm good thank you" 🤷♂️
I would add have your electronics like your laptop out and ready. Stop asking if you have to take your shoes off. Yes you do unless you're a senior citizen and only in some airports. Do you have a hoodie on? Take it off
Isn't this common sense? I have done this before 9 / 11 The lines are typically long for the cattle class people. I get the bin and dump my stuff. Have my paperwork from the metal in my body. I get there 3 hours early for domestic flights and 4 hours for international.Metal in my body slows things down.

Which of your carry on level8 bags would you recommend if you could only have one?
Someone please tell airport security to be kind! 😂

Why don’t illegals who have come into the U.S. not have to show ID to board a flight?
I always love the adrenaline going through TSA.
6- LISTEN. The number 1 thing my son complains about is having to tell people 5-6-more times to do something!! 😬
Good one
Is the TSA PreCheck worth it?
I just got it, so I'm about to find out! 😂
Totally. Saves me a long line almost every time.

How do you get TSA Pre-check?
Hi here is a video with the website too: bit.ly/GetPreCheck4Steps
Don't leave your tools on the back of or outside your vehicle. They can get lost , stolen/ tampered with by people or playful animals.
What if I have Pre check?

I was told to keep my shoes on I was wearing crocks so idk if that why
