This conversation is very informative. Enterprises encourage their employees to be more creative and innovative, yet the reward structure is not strong and mature enough to support that expectation.

I've watched a lot of these that you have put up and I love them. I'm starting to see a trend though. Many of the companies seem to be defending themselves when you talk about your concepts. I'm still waiting for the one company where the representative sits back, asks questions and takes notes. Someone who is actually doing it to learn. Great leaders are also great students.

What a fascinating talk you had with the speaker in the video! It's clear that you've absorbed a lot of valuable information. One key takeaway I found particularly compelling was the idea that goals should be seen as part of an ongoing, purpose-driven journey, much like maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I'm curious to know how you plan to apply this perspective on goals and purpose in your own leadership role or within your sales team to foster a more meaningful and effective approach to achieving objectives.

Great work Simon! Being adaptable is the key! Foster an environment where adaptability is valued. Acknowledge that goals may need to evolve based on changing circumstances, and provide the team with the flexibility to adjust their approach while staying true to the overarching purpose.

Very good way to ask about numbers missing and asking if are they okay.
But what if we have certain employees who explains, are you okay for 3-4 months and they repeatedly keep saying xyz personal things and they don’t improve.

If it's really not improving after help/assistance and support is offered, then have to put the underperformers in Performance Improvement Plans (PIP)

I'd like to hear the steps he has when you support, mistake happens, you show empathy, create a action plan, retrain, then there's still a mistake haha
