I love the whole throne of glass series but it definitely gets better as you go on. Heir of fire onwards is a complete shift. Personally empire of storms is my favourite.

Started to read the Last Hours series (about the kids of the Infernal Devices' characters), was really disappointed and spoiled everything for the Infernal Devices but here I am finally reading the Infernal Devices (and I understand why everyone loves it, so dynamic! and Jem is my baby, I'm in the middle of the 2nd book now) but I do love the Dark Artificies (the series after the Mortal Instruments, really waiting for the Wicked Powers - the last series in the Shadowhunters' world)
@@hueandchroma yeah, there will be 5 main series: The Infernal Devices, then the Last Hours, then the Mortal Instruments, then the Dark Artifices (my personal favourite) and then the last one will be called the Wicked Powers - it's not out yet
I also read throne of glass. I gave it 3 stars…barely; but I want to push through b/c from what I hear the series gets really good by book three 😂 and I agree the audio is not good. I’m going to read the physical books and hopefully I will connect to the story more.
