One thing I love about this game is how quickly your deck can go from decent or solid to outright broken. It makes for the most wonderful and fun of surprises.
I’ve had so many runs where I think my deck is total trash and has no chance of winning and I’m considering just restarting. Then 2 fights later I have the most powerful deck I’ve had all month and steamroll every boss.
I'm on covenant 10 (ish) and really stuggling to win anything. I'm going random random since everything is about equal unlock/golden wise, but I can't seem to scale attack and defense well enough to survive things like the self made harpy, or the last divinity. Maybe I'm taking too many cards or units but plans just never seem to pan out.
As a general rule, you should only take a couple units and be heavily considering what fusion you want. In combats its almost a must to take bonus unit drafts for combat challenges, and finally use your early gold to get your units strong rather then spells.
Don't get overly reliant on your champions, unless they make your build work. Often your monsters, after upgrades and infusions, are much stronger than the champions are
Better to have one floor made of a single uber-unit that you duplicate rather than chase steel shops to try to make 3-4 okish units that span multiple floors.
I think you should skip random-random. Grinding on one clan at the time allow you to master that clan a bit. It takes some time to see the line, realise whats in your deck and whats missing from solving future combats
Her only self scaling line "royalty" is a huge trap that only works in conjunction with melted remnant endless lines. Imp Parade 3 scales the whole floor with rage and armour but requires taking floor space as well as 2 holdover spells capable of killing 20 armour friendly Imps every round. The final line Impearalist sacrifices all on floor imps to deal AOE damage but requires an independant and renewable source of imps. Her best use is Imperalist combined with an endless welder helper or rage imp so you don't have to spend extra effort killing off the imps to gain more room.
@@thomasneal9291 your champion shouldn't be your scaling line in most clans anyway, and she *does* if you go imp parade level 2 since it gives you a rage imp every turn. Queen its pretty consistently good, its only tough if you get her with wyrmkin or stygian since you'll struggl for inspires or incants with the queen's impliings. if you get imptoss, she has a decent amount of HP and clears backlines for you, you jsut need to hunt endless (and you are already going to steel shops to get multistrike on your main line anyway) and then if you get imp parade and dont see imptoss, you can double take space on the bosses and get a decent amount of value out of the imps(rally path is ass tho, never take it) she's way better than the other hellhorned champion anyway, hellhorned prince has like 1 very specific good line and every other time you are basically tossing him on a lower floor to get rid of him.

As Baalor himself said during this video: What a Heph-ty run!!!
I was kinda wondering why they didnt give you upgrades at the post boss event. Then I realized who would even be there to give you 'em.
What the Heph was that run
The get 5 duplicates event is always so busted
I'm hephed up to the gills man

I don't get why people don't like Shardtail Queen, she's my favorite champion.
no inherent scaling?
