And then he's right behind him. Impossible to happen, because he was outside, but in silly comedy it's possible and hilarious. Like Jen's bent toes. Impossible but possible in comedy like this.
Fire, exclamation mark. Fire, exclamation mark. Help me, exclamation mark. 123 Carrendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best, Maurice Moss.
I only started watching Father Ted because of this show but for me, the leap in humour, context, and relevance is remarkable. There are so many brilliant parts to it that I've never seen anywhere else
Heard about a guy who was turned down at a software developer interview because he was not geeky enough. Well, these two chaps would definitely be accepted there.
Great show. Why didn't u include the brilliant sketch where Chris Morris bursts in and says "We're having a war on stress.Anyone who is still stressed by the end of today is FIRED!"?????
I thought that part was slowing it down, glad they got rid of him for his "son" He was good, but I found his parts slowed everything down. I usually don't like new characters part way through but His "son" was much better than I gave him credit for, so was a nice replacement

Just to explain the joke for non-IT people: he should have left the soldering iron turned OFF and not turned it ON again, which is what caused the fire, which he then ought to have reacted to more promptly.
@@automat3000 That depends on whether or not you pronounce the 'h' in 'homage'. (I don't pronounce the h, so it's 'an homage' for me. Something like 50% of us pronounce the 'h', so for them, it's 'a homage')

This was filmed in front of a live studio audience, it isn’t canned laughter. If you don’t think it’s funny that’s fair enough (you might be American, in which case I’m not surprised) but plenty of people do enjoy it.
Roy screaming 'MOSS!' right after asking if this was the stress class always cracks me up
And the way they climb over the other people to get to their chairs 😂

As a 30+ year veteran of the IT industry, I can confirm "IT Crowd" was a documentary, not fictional.
Including the D&D?
I can also attest to that

@@Cookie__XD 😁I love that, almost worth taking up a role in IT for.
I have worked IT since 2016 straight out of college and other than working in the basement all I can say is yes
So funny. Watch all seasons. Wait a few years. Repeat. Never gets old.
Yee-up
Same here with peep show aswell
I concur
I actually rewatched it five times in the span of a year and still never got tired of it
If you walk in front of a magnet it only takes a few months to fade away from memory instead of years

Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry. Two gems I discovered through this show.

This show is so chaotic, I LOVE it! Moss, Roy and Jenn my favorite characters on TV
Douglas ❤

Moss asking, "when did u grow a beard?" kills me.
Fun fact, for all who have played Amnesia a Machine for Pigs. The Stress speaker is the voice actor for Mandus.
Wow...!
The fingers gets me cracking up every time. Been there, experienced that
They should ask "Have you seen "The IT Crowd" during job interviews to make sure they know what they are getting into.
Another British classic comedy that has aged like a fine wine.

Thanks for posting these. IT Crowd is theee best.
I've only just realised today that the opening to this scene was a tribute to Laurel and Hardy in Sons of the Desert.
Interesting! how so?

Absolutely loved this show!!!!
One of the funniest scenes but not the only funny scene in this great series.
The writers must be fans of Laurel and Hardy, as they are replicating this scene from the L and H movie ' Sons of the desert.

I had shoes in in NYC that were so uncomfortable I nipped into DSW at midtown to get flip flops to wear home.
absolute credit to those actors for having such poker faces. I don't think I could have done it
this and coupling were a lot of fun.
I really enjoyed Coupling. I actaully enjoyed seeing the Actors go off and do big projects.
It's when he screams at that woman while she's hooked up to the machine! 😅😅😅
The stress class scene is based on and a tribute to comedy icons Laurel & Hardy.
I also think Simon pegg did this same scene from SOTD ..... also in obvious tribute.
My favorite show. The Best!!
The reaction to the finger getting caught in the chair makes me think it might have happened for real. Lol.
Fun fact, this was based on a Laurel & Hardy sketch from one of their movies.
Yup, the beginning when they enter the room is a homage to Sons of the Desert. Linehan confirmed that in the DVD commentary.
Rediscovering the comedy is hilarious 😂
