Oh, there's so many good horns in the Lord of the Rings movies!!!
You got Boromir's horn of Gondor, the soldiers of Rhun approaching the Black Gate, the opening of the Black Gate itself, the horn of Helm Hammerhand, Rohan's cavalry horns, the Uruk-hai at Isengard, the Haradrim, and my personal favorite, the Lorien elves reinforcing Helm's Deep. Although, I'll say I'm very torn between that and Rohan's coming up over the horizon and sounding the charge. In fact, both of those are tied for my favorite.
Even The Hobbit has some spectacular horns. Dale and Erebor are both great, and the Gundabad orcs also have a good one for that massive final battle.
Finally. I've been waiting to hear Darth Fringo laugh at my comment. I should've mentioned it was a puddle of goo that Fring tries to drown Rags in. Going out Bruce Willis style like in Glass.

I always thought the Witch King 'disappearing' for a while between the confrontation with Gandalf and his attack on Theoden, is because he had to reorganize Mordors army. The army was fully focused on besieging Minas Tirith and was suddenly flanked by a host of cavalry. This would require giving orders to the captains to deal with the threat to prevent the army from being completely routed.
The Witch King was the commander and general of the army and needed to organize his army to deal with this. The fact that the Haradrim attack the Rohirrim while the orcs are routing reinforces this idea - they are the best counter to the cavalry force and have been given the command by the Witch King to deal with the Rohirrim. After reorganizing his own army, the Witch King attempts to disorganize and possibly rout the Rohirrim by taking out their leader, Theoden.
It all makes sense, but we're not shown any of it in the movie explicitly so I guess it falls into the head canon category.

Vampyr is a good example of a game with the morality system that they were talking about. Doing the right thing and being a good guy is the harder path.
It's an interesting game, very unique, nobody ever talks about it. I think Mauler would like it, it's both a Souls-like and technically a horror game. Bonus points for being set in Britain during the spanish flu. Great voice acting.

If they ever do a Potter arc I can see the first two going down as the best, but still highly flawed. Then I think they get progressively worse. The funniest thing will be if they do it in a format where chat can join in, cause adding stuff from the books often makes it worse.

9:50 honestly I think mediocre games might benefit from that. The choices are never that deep and it's very easy to overthink it. The timer prevents that.
The question is the design. I feel like Mass Effect did it wrong where the timer is 1 choice and waiting it out is the other. Think I saw a game that randomly chooses an option. I feel the best way is to have an either yes or no, where "no" skips the timer, or have 3 options.

The problem with KOTOR 2's morality system is the game kept mistaking me being cheeky and sarcastic for me actually meaning all the evil shit i was saying; so now I'm a pimp and everyone's lecturing me on the value of free will when all I said was "Hey at least your dancing ain't bad"

I definitely agree with their assessment of how morality systems should function.
It's why I think undertale's pacifist and genocide run difficulties are completely flipped in difficulty for how they should be.
You don't really learn a meaningful moral lesson if you get your ass kicked for going out of your way to do evil and having a fairly easy time with going out of your way to do good.
Seems sensible. Within reason, of course. Mass Effect is a series that is all about diplomacy and forging alliances to fight a collective threat. What kind of sense would it make to play a character that consistently breaks those allegiances for selfish gain, and gets away with it most of the time? Ideally each choice should have its pros and cons, but the nature of some games means being friendly is going to yield the most longterm rewards. Sometimes even resulting in extra content in the form of side quests or new party members. In a game like Baldur's Gate 3 for example, being a prick can easily cause your allies to outright abandon you
Some games only want to use morality to enhance their story. They don't want their players min/maxing their choices just to unlock a cool move or an upgrade here and there
7:54 I'm inclined to say Dark Souls has the better idea, generally. Killing an NPC awards you with their equipment instantly. Completing their questline awards you with that same set of equipment at the end. There is no difference in rewards, but one is delayed.
If you're going to explore something like morality in a game it should probably not be easily broken down into a binary and should involve complex mechanics.
Witcher does a decent job, but that's not really a mechanic.
Not entirely sure what would be a good example of a morality mechanic. You have the DnD alignments, but from what I played Pathfinder didn't actually include any direct consequences for choosing an alignment. You are encouraged to pick and choose by situation, rather than going for a set choice.
EDIT: Maybe Undertale? It has the interesting idea that being good actually leads you to associating with characters and in the end I felt you do a easier and uniform difficulty run of the game.
Meanwhile being evil leads you to initially being stronger, I think, but eventually the game becomes harder in response and I didn't have the skills and patience to beat it.

Speaking more to the Mass Effect morality system which sometimes makes a stance on morality which I disagree with. The council choice at the end of ME1 is one. But the other major one I remember is in ME2 when you must choose to either rewrite (brainwash) the heretic geth to fall in line or eradicate them.
The game declared that rewriting them is "paragon" and destroying them is "renegade". I don't know that I agree that brainwashing your enemy into believing in your side is the "good thing to do".
One of my favourite examples of morality in video games is the difference between the black isle/obsidian fallout games and Bethesda's fallout games, Bethesda is either goody two shoes or super villain evil with almost nothing grey, except in fallout 4 which its like a challenge to even find something evil to do vs the others where morality is a little more grey, fallout nv is my favourite and people still debate to this day who is best to rule the Mojave, (even the legion though i will say even though they are the worst overall clearly they still have some benefits for some normal people like traders and their territory is extremely safe by all accounts).
I just want my game with moral decisions to make me really think about what my priorities are in a pragmatic sense like in real life choosing which politicians and such to begrudgingly support.
