War Of The Worlds Drawing Time Lapse | Not Without A Fight

This illustration has an interesting origin story. I was enjoying the play, A Gentlemen's Guide To Love&Murder(A great show!), and in the play the main character pointed a rifle in the same stance as the protagonist of my Illustration above is. As that show takes place in 1910(I believe), all the Player's were dressed in early 1900's attire and it inspired me. My mind went to H. G. Wells and War Of The Worlds. Since i know nothing about early twentieth century England, other then the fact that they were invaded by Martians, i thought of this picture in my head.

The Tripod is coming, it will win. Either by death ray or simple stomping, but it will win. It doesn't matter if My bullet bounces off, i won't let it crush my home until it has at least gone through Me!
