Hi everyone!
Sorry for the delay. My laptop seems to be struggling more with each day and we noticed after filming the whole day that our screen wasn't being recorded, just a freeze frame (you'll notice). I tried my best to put the mv's over it. Unfortunately I had to cut out 25min of science since it was impossible to recreate those moments.. I don't know what moments we were zooming in on or rewinding so I just left it out. We are still figuring out what to do for the remaining days since we do not want this issue to repeat. We will def keep you up to date. Sorry for this massive inconvenience and also sorry for the massive meltdown. Earlier in the day I got some news and the songs just seemed to really reflect what was happening. Art imitates life.

don't feel bad because you think you started listening o them too late. There is a saying among ARMYs that says that BTS finds you when you needed them the most. Also, there has not been a day of peace for Armys since the military announcement, they have been releasing stuff nonstop. Chapter 2 has been a ride.

So many of us understand how you're feeling. There are many armys that joined the fandom after the hiatus was announced and feel like they missed out as well. Bts has so much content out to occupy us while they're away.

rm wrote singularity for taehyung. taehyung said he liked it bcos the lyrics was really made for him. it was said to be inspired by yukio mishima’s book “confession of the mask” a book joon was reading.
it’s so amazing how joon writes songs for members/helps write songs with members that perfectly display the talent of their voices/styles. euphoria was perfect for jk, serendipity perfectly displays jimin’s voice and singularity was perfect for taehyung. that’s an incredible talent.

oooh damn it hit her hard and fast. this is why bts is so powerful and beloved. they have that special ability to pull you in and become emotionally connected. she only just started really getting into bts and is already head over heels and so invested. we get it. you can still catch up on all that you missed, it's never too late to support and love them. you now have even more time to catch up until they return in less than 2 years. they're still releasing solo music, bts have 10 years worth of content and music to enjoy too so don't cry! :)
Honestly, Özlem did an incredible job putting this introduction together, IN-CRE-DI-BLE! This is the best way of getting someone into the music and bu! She chose all the right videos, and honestly, people don’t need to do too much, just show the music first and then a bit of their personalities, people can’t help but fall for BTS, there’s not a lot of science behind it… BTS do a great job at being likeable, because they’re simply already such nice human beings.

As someone who only joined the fandom after Butter, I'm really feeling what Esosa's going through, here. Journeying into BTS felt exactly the same for me; the further I looked, the more I was baffled that I hadn't found them yet, but like Esosa said, I think BTS finds us all exactly when they're supposed to. They've enriched my life so much, I'm learning a new language, I'm exploring a culture, I've found these reactors that come to feel like friends....
I'm rambling. All that to say, homie is going through it, and I'm feeling it just as hard. I'm in this Bangtan shit for life.
I found them when I didn’t know what K-pop was in the Save Me era but was an ignorant local 😭. Even though I saved like 3 songs of theirs in my playlist cause it sounded so good and just categorized it as songs that’s not in English. Now I became army after butter era too and the regret is so big cause I could have been there from 2015 instead of 2021 😩

i got into BTS before my 2020 deployment, and im glad i did because theyre songs got me through long days after work. i would even go to my barracks room and binge RUN BTS. they did a lot for me during that deployment 💜

I always knew they would one day enlist because they are upstanding Korean citizens (and they did say they would do their due diligence) but when it was the actual day...i just lost it and cried a river 💜

Let me tell you I found them just before this and this was my first comeback and when they say BTS finds you when you need them most… I was in the middle of a breakup from someone of 5 years as this album came out and when I tell you the tears I had for days!!!! Album was on repeat!! This was the first actual physical CD I had bought in a LONG TIME but the emotional connection and relief their music has bought me and continues to this day. It’s ok they will be back. They always keep their promises💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Esosa, love, it doesn't matter when BTS finds you. It's usually when you need it most. There is no such thing as too late and we will all be going through it with you until they are back together again. In the meantime, we enjoy their solo releases and undeniable talent and the joy they bring us.

Something about V's voice always does something to me
I swear, Esosa talking about this moment being a core memory is just like me with my friend, bc I was the person who made her into a carat last year. I was getting into seventeen myself and I just dragged her with me lol. She recently said to me: "you were the only person who made me genuinely care for them, cause I was really neutral about it" and that made me so happy
And I know it's hard to get into bts rn bc of all of that is happening, but don't worry, they enter your life when you need it the most, so anytime is the right time 💜💜💜 they found me almost the same time as Özlem, the end of 2017, and it was the best timing possible
BTS finds you at the right time, whenever you need them. They may be going into the military but starting new, there is so much to see so the absence of OT7 activity will be felt less (Run BTS, Bangtan Bombs, award performances, solos). I was completely taken aback by Esosa's reaction, positively of course. It was just pure raw emotions, it felt so real and relatable! I became an Army at the end of 2020, and especially at the beginning of my journey, when everything felt absolutely magical and overwhelmingly beautiful, there wasnt a day where I didnt feel exactly like you do now. I kept thinking "I had heard of them a bit, I knew of their existence, why the hell did I not try listening to them earlier". It was truly haunting. To this day there are still times when I would give everything to be able to go back to 2016/2017/2018 and get to know them then. But at the same time, as time passed, I realised that, as Yoongi said, I discovered them when I needed them the most. That day, they debuted for me, and it was the most magical of days. I will never forget how amazing the journey of discovery was, how excited I was for every little detail, how much love and warmth I just felt inside. Now I am just glad they are a part of my life, even if I was a bit late to the game. I struggle to put into words how much they mean to me, it's not an exaggeration to say that in many ways they have reshaped me as a person, and I will always be grateful for their existence on this planet. I wish them all the happiness in the world. Cause in so many ways, a lot of the times, they are my happiness and my strenght. I will never fall in love with a group the way I fell in love with these 7 amazing and inspiring men, and I feel so sad for those who let stereotypes and ignorance stop them from receiving the gift of knowing and supporting them. Even tho ive been army for many years and witnessed many comebacks, i wish i was army from the start cuz of how they changed my life. it has become a big part of my life, and some poeple might think im stupid for it, but its a highlight for me getting of from work watching these guys. When i know they are coming out with new stuff, i have something to look forward to even tho my life sucks sometimes.. I also started late with bts (2017) and they were honestly way ahead of the game. All the popularity they have it’s deserved since they worked so damn hard. Sure after dynamite it all went down musically but they left us so many damn good songs and memories. Their concerts (I only got to go to 2 of them) were the best, filled with energy and passion.

Hello ladies. Im a "silent" watcher and follower of this series. Today, can't help but comment. I cried with you, Esosa, because I feel you. I joined the fandom last year (after hiatus). I truly regret not being there earlier, never experienced a comeback as a group. Sometimes I'd think that I have no right to say that I miss them since I've never really experienced them during their active days as a whole group. But then again, it is what it is. Since I've know them, I've been taking my time to catch up with their past contents (while also supporting their solos now). I am honestly making an effort to start from the beginning, so when they are back in 2025, I would somehow be able to say that I'm a proud Army. Taehyung has the widest vocal range and it reflects so well when sings those high pitches effortlessly. It comes naturally to him, he doesn't need to push harder. He's extremely talented and his voice is so deep. I am proud of him ❤
As an amateur musician and part time producer, I was similarly DESTROYED when I heard/watched "Singularity" the first time. It still gives me the chills and tears to my eyes even after hundreds of replays. Goddamn!
Esosa was eargasming all over the place during Singularity. 😂 SAME, fam. Tear was the first album I ever heard, and I'm obsessed with it to this day.
AND FAKE LOVE DID IT TO ME. I had never listened to Kpop before (except Gangnam Style and some 1st gen stuff) in my LIFE. But several friends harassed me for YEARS about BTS until I finally watched this...and then they didn't see or hear from me for 4 days while I PLUMMETED down the rabbit hole 24/7... and never came back out. That was May 20th, 2018. I recently celebrated my 5th ARMYversary!

BTS are singers, rappers, dancers, producers, songwriters, storytellers, they are amazing artists. Once you enter their universe is impossible to find the way out.
Don't worry about being late to join ARMY. I joined after Butter and Permission to Dance hit it big. But even though I missed every comeback before their enlistment (aside from all the incredible solo stuff), I just know the comeback after their service is going to be off the walls amazing.
Damn fake love is what made me an army as well, as well as my first comeback. As a song it was so good like something ive never heard before in my life. to quote someone, "it was like showing a light bulb to people living on kerosine lamps" It made me interested in every single aspect of it from music, MV, lore, the boys themselves and i kept doing more research about them and their songs and fell into the rabbit hole.
Don’t feel bad for feeling this way. Being a part of ARMY it’s never ending content. I seen so many say that they’ve missing out. While they are gone it’s content to keep us occupied for a while. They love us deeply and we them deeply.💜
I would say V, JK and RM are the ones who got me hooked into this fandom because I could never stop looking at them in music videos. But listening songs. For some reason I pay attention to the background vocals wise omg Jimin, jk, V, Jin and J-Hope in songs like spring day omg does something to my ears

Dear Esosa, I understand your feelings SO WELL! I've started listening to BTS only in September 2023, a week after Suga went into the army. And I also cried endlessly, feeling incredibly late. But I think you and I now just have more time to find out everything about BTS, and then we can wait for their return, which will bring us many more amazing masterpieces!

You two are so precious. I was late too and also feel upset with myself for just getting into them in 2021; but, they came to me when I needed them. Don’t worry!!! BTS finds you when you need them most 💜💜 They are most definitely not letting us forget them (and I don’t want to lol). Hell, Jin recorded a video for every month he is gone and who knows what Hobi will do. I’m more and more in tune with them despite them going to the military. And I’m even more excited for 2025, I can’t wait for ARMY and them to come together. Take the time to learn and prepare for the fight for tickets lol

Esosa you made me cry😭 I became an ARMY in April last year, two months before they announced their break from group activities. Back then their was a lot of speculations going around, a lot of uncertainty, and I cried so much over being too late. I beat myself up a lot back in June, and then again in October when we learned about the enlistment. Seeing you cry over this made me sob for a bit, not gonna lie😭It brought back a lot of emotions.
But, in the end, I found them in one of the hardest time of my life, when I felt lost, alone and so tired of everything. For the past year, they've given me a reason to wake up every morning until I could find my own way again, until I could gather my energy and finally get better. If only for that, I don't regret being so late.
Like the saying goes: BTS found me when I needed them the most💜
Also to address what you said at the end, I get what you mean. I experienced my very first comeback with Proof, and even tho it was a strange o ne for a first time (I felt more out of the loop than anything since I didn't know half of the things that were going on, since it was an anthology album and, therefore, meant for older fans), I still feel privileged to have been there when it happened. To have sat down in front of my TV, knowing that Yet to Come had just dropped. To watch it and understand the references, because I'd just seen all the previous MVs in the last two months. To see Proof Live on the day of the release. It was all soaked with nostalgia, one that I couldn't fully comprehend, but that I now look back on with such fondness. I am so grateful to have had at least one group comeback before all the solo albums.
The saying among Army is BTS finds you when you need them. You just must have needed them now. Don't feel back. Also - özlem "Abs", Esosa - "NO!!😭" I cracked up!

When Esosa said “it’s too late they’re enlisting” I felt that 😭 I didn’t become army until 2019and get so sad wishing I had more time! Fake love is the song that got me hooked! But it’s ok Esosa we will be ready for that come back!!!!! 💜

I can’t explain it to my friends, family, partner but somehow they unlock your emotions and it all comes rushing out and all one can do is cry. The tears are a mix of joy, sadness, happiness, love, hope and so much more. I laugh as much as I cry with BTS but they all make us feel so alive.❤

What you said 13:30 in about joyful boyish play is so true, and not only do they have that together, but share it so generously with ARMY, because they understand that even second-hand, it picks us up. That’s the stuff that moves you into a forever fan.
And btw I’m 68. They pretty much transcend everything, including age.

Esosa you make me want to cry too. I let them in around December last year. And I say it like that because I had heard about them but had stubbornly not wanted to listen to them.
