  • Many of you have asked me how I use bicomponent cracking varnish, why I get cracks with it! Where are you going wrong, if you do exactly the same as me, but the cracks don't want to show. I'm trying to answer you, at least to show you how I work this problem.
    The shape of the cracks, and the time they start to appear, depends only on the thickness of the coats you apply, of each component of the crack varnish.
    I've always said it this way, after the second component of the cracking varnish is dry, i.e. no longer shiny, open the window wide, let the air circulate in the room.
    In this tutorial, I show you 4 variations of getting cracks, with the same cracking varnish. Even though the time was longer for 2 variations, the cracks came out just right.
    The cracking varnish, doesn't dry completely, when we want it to, you can have surprises the next day, or just after a few hours, to notice more and more cracks.

    Mii de mulțumiri, cred că este cel mai explicativ video cu subiectul ăsta de pe UA-cam! Dacă nici acum nu-mi iese... Voiam să vă întreb totuși cât de important este să aplici glazing medium înainte de lacul de crăpare? Dacă da, poate fi înlocuit cu un lac obișnuit pe bază de apă sau solvent?

    • @DanielaNaftanaila
      @DanielaNaftanaila  Рік тому +1

      Cu mare drag, 🥰❤ desigur, glaze medium se poate schimba cu orice lac, practic am simulat un decoupage, pentru care inainte de lacul de crapare, intindem servetelul si apoi il lacuim, abia dupa aceea punem lacul de crapare. 🥰❤

      first of all, I want to tell you that you have an exceptional ability to transfer knowledge to others. Your video gave more answers than we can ask questions. I understood you as if you spoke to me in my language, although you did not speak at all. Thanks Daniela, I still need to find "glazing medium" (can it be replaced by acrylic varnish?) and "solvent base vsrnish" (can it be replaced by nitro varnish?)

    • @DanielaNaftanaila
      @DanielaNaftanaila  Рік тому +1

      I was very glad you understood everything I wanted to convey. That's what I want to do through my tutorials. Yes, you can replace medium glazes with any acrylic varnish. At the end, you can cover everything with a solvent-based varnish. This fineline crackle varnish, is very sensitive to water based finishing varnishes, it simply disintegrates under them. I'm not familiar with this nitro varnish, but if it's solvent based, it's perfect.
