I know this isn't the usual kaiju related content, but that is coming soon! I felt very inclined to make this video and thought it might be something many of you would enjoy regardless. More videos coming soon and I mean it! No more 3 month breaks!

I found Minecraft in the fourth grade and got the lite version on my moms iPad. A few weeks later I asked if I could buy the full game on the iPad and they said yes. I built so many things like castles and big houses. I then got it on my Xbox 360 because that’s what my friends were playing it on. At that time I only really had 3 or 4 people that were friends to me because the rest of the school would bully me. I remember that we built all kinds of villages and “adventure maps” and we had a blast. I moved away and made new friends like you and other people in our group and I still talk to a couple of my old friends. This game helped me when I would come home from school and had a bad day and would cheer me up.

    My Story with Minecraft:
Like you, I was not really popular in school, I got picked on for the first 6 years of school, which ended in the 7th grade. But that's not the story. I started playing Minecraft around the time of my fourth year of school. I played alone mostly, but every weekend I played with my best friend at the time, we are still friends to this day. He was only allowed to play on weekends, but I did not care, we played on our parents laptops at the time and on his Xbox 360 when I was over at his house, I had a Wii, so we could not play at my house. We played Skyblock, PvP factions and many more different things. We only had more fun once we both got our own laptops with times. Which gave us the ability to play at both our homes. Like you, we used Skype and Played for hours at the time with no end, except when our parents told us to go to bed. We had many worlds which we lost to time and device failure, which is really sad. And I have to say it was the time spend with Minecraft, that were the most fun for me. Minecraft is not just a game for me, I was the experiences I had and the companionship and belonging I felt, while playing that makes it so special for me. Since you asked to share, I did. To a game, to a time or place where everything was good while it lasted and all worries of life were gone. Thinking back, I realized, that the people I call friends today are the people I play Minecraft with today.
