Santana played In the legendary 1969 Woodstock when he was I believe around 22 yrs old. And he performed his heart out with his group.
In a interview years later he said that they were all high on acid and thinking that they would perform later that day. But then out of nowhere a staff member said they were next. Santana said that if you see the video when he was on stage he didn’t want to open his eyes because he thought his guitar was a snake trying to bite him. They other members of the band also said they were Hallucinating. 😂😂😂😂

Nobody talks/shows emotion with the guitar like Santana.

Also, this video shows just how much of a Metal Head you are. Only a true Metal Head can swing their hair like that! The fact that you actually inspired me to do it to Santana speaks volumes.

I will say this, if you listen to enough Santana, someone could blindfold you and play a song that you've never heard before and you will recognize the sound of his guitar. The best I could do to attempt to describe the sound is...Latin Vibes with Muted Tone that makes you Feel Warm Inside.
Also, you look like Brandon Herrera's (UA-camr) Larger Brother. lol.

Really wanna get into Santana - try 'Soul Sacrifice' - the live version from Tanglewood in 1970. The drum solo by Michael Shrieve is brilliant.

I'm pretty sure the Live of Soul Sacrifice is actually their performance at Woodstock. But yes, it's *EPIC*, and should be next on the reaction list.

Probably the best cover of the Fleetwood Mac song.
An era when songs were written and crafted by humans.

All thumbs up for your comment - you`re right ! But... (I`m sure you know it) the wrighter of the song is Peter Green, member and founder of the group F.M. ! I love his records since he left and, of course, his solo albums. Greets from hamburg (germany)

Mr.RR did you know Bandmaids lead guitarist Kanami was influenced by Carlos Santana you can hear that influence riffs and licks in some of her music- like solos- in (choose me) and others

Santana is the best. The singer is Greg Rollie who went on to form Journey, the drummer Michel Shrieve is amazing as well.

Yes, I like Carlos Santana's version very much. But you shouldn't forget that the song (and many others) was composed by Peter Green the founder of "Fleetwood Mac" when they played real blues-rock. After Peter Green's departure it was (just for me) a random pop band like many others. Best wishes @all from hamburg (germany)
