Clap Out at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for our own Healthcare Hero who Beat COVID-19

After training hundreds of our nurses in order to prepare them to care for our incoming COVID-19 patients, Mary Koch MSN, RN-BC, CNOR, Director of Nursing Education, at the Center for Professional Development Innovation and Research at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children's Hospital of New Jersey found herself out of breath and testing positive for the coronavirus. After a week as an inpatient, she was discharged and escorted out by Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s President and CEO, Darrell K. Terry, Sr., with cheers and tears of happiness from her teammates.
