The preliminary round is much better than the grand final, they have change their formation a bit that make their formation looks bad. Pity on the band member they practice a lot than suddenly some silly actor took part on their formation. Honestly they do not need the actor to win it. - Johannian -
hurmmm.. i think this is the best performance by SJI so far.. but frankly said, i dun like the acting stuff.. colour guard already adequate for the flag, riffle, stick n drum major stuff..
the perfomance look lame with the present of the actor,the actor did not give a good show and distracting,trumpet a bit unstable,colourguard was amazing,percussion was good,hornline overall was good but a bit unstable
they tried too much. the preliminary round way much better than this. the sound is shaggy when they hit the highest note, the acting looks weird n clumsy. too much elements distracted the focus on their performance. all these blocked them from being the natcomp 2012 champion.
Just doing some research for Malaysia Band this few day. Sorry to say, the 3rd rank band better from your guys. Acting by the actor & high brass pitching & intonation not really on the par!
