I've said it before, what I really like about this channel is it has no unnecessary BS, no memes, no silly background tunes, no promotional stuff. And of course highly useful for us over 50s.
That’s because he is a consummate professional who really cares about his client group. I've recently attended a six week physio course at my local hospital to learn how to ease pain; I am now following Will's channel and very grateful for it.
These sound perfect for me to try, I get discouraged when I exercise, then need two or more days to recover from joint pain.Thankyou for this timely advice.
This California woman has followed Will for many months, I even bought his book. I injured my back along with sciatica and followed my hospital's PT routines for 8 months. All were isometric and I recognize many that Will demonstrates. They really do work. Consistancy is key. I appreciate this channel.
Hello Will I really enjoy watching your program. Your genuine care for the well-being of others is evident in every video, and your positive energy is truly infectious. Your channel has become a valuable resource for me, and I find myself eagerly looking forward to each new upload. Thank you for all that you do to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being. Your work is making a difference in the lives of so many. Keep shining brightly and sharing your incredible knowledge with the world! With keep appreciation and admiration 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words, they truly mean a lot to me! It's great to hear you've found my channel so useful, and I hope my videos continue to offer helpful and engaging content to help you care for your wellbeing. I'm sending best wishes your way 😃
I hope you get very strong and have no more broken anything. I started using Penetrex for healing as well as Lemongrass essential oil for same but also pains. Foot, knee and finger surgeries were successful but not without some pains.
I really appreciate your focus on individuals who again over 50 and who may have challenges at this point in your life. Addressing those challenges are very valuable to me. I really don't appreciate seeing people work out and do exercises who have nothing in common with me other than the fact that they may be human beings as well.
Thanks for the video! I had given up on most upper body exercises due to my injured shoulders which always got worse after exercising. I hope this will help me exercise my upper body without pain! Do you have any good isometric back exercises you could show us? I think that would be very useful!
Thanks you for putting this video out. Please could you put isometric exercises for Achilles tendon rehab and strength. Also, is it OK if the knees crackle while wall squatting. Thank you once again
Will walks the talk. He is fit and practices what he preaches. Great instruction without the hype. I have found his e-mails and videos informative and helpful. Thanks Will!
He he. I live in Spain. We have communal rubbish bins. So ln my 5 minute walk there with my rubbish bags I use them as weights to do bits of arm exercises. 1 arm at a time though as I have my dogs on leads as well. 😊
I am still recovering from post Covid and thus have low motivation and energy. Will you please make a 10 minute video of exercises for general overall health. I don’t want explanations, etc. I want to play your video and exercise with you for 10 minutes. One I can play every day to force myself to move for 10 minutes. I do watch all your videos on the various topic, but when they are over, I still have to get up and do them and I usually don’t. Make one short video that forces me to move from the start. Thanks so much!
is there a book that has more Isometric exercises? Our church folks, who want to exercise, are all 65 and older. They want me to put together a program that is suitable for everyone. Most of us have age issues. Many are using Rollators for steady walking, or carrying objects that are too heavy to carry.
I remember many years ago doing isometrics (new concept then) for my stomach muscles while walking my brand new firstborn on our daily outings. Such fun meeting up again, very ''user friendly'' 😂 Thanks!
Hello will. Am waiting for hip replacement but due to ulcers on my lower legs surgeon won’t operate till clear. I’m lopsided and can’t walk very well also losing my balance. How can I strengthen my legs and glutes without further damage to help me to be fitter for op. Isometrics seem to be the answer. Thankyou for helping all of us oldies…… we CAN do this lol😄😄😄
Great exercises. However one question. For the first 2 exercises you mention hold for minimum 10 seconds increasing to 30. However, on the next 2 you say not to hold for too long, just 10 seconds🤔. Please would you be kind enough to explain. Maybe I missed something. Thanks again for all the wonderful videos.
thanks for more ways to get strong. Can I ask what you mean, that tendons can get stronger? I have tendonosis that still complains sometimes (ankle) I exercise but I thought it was just strengthening the muscles. Thanks if you can find the time to explain.
Reminds me of that terrible pub competition where you have to see how long you can Squat against a wall with your thighs and shins at right angles, The jockeys always win !
