I think Ive learned more watching just a few minutes of your videos as opposed to hours of many others..Well thought out and explained instruction, thank you!!! If you could please point me where the best bang for buck rock sales are I would be very much appreciative and never bother you again? Thanks again!

I appreciate it very much! Shoot me an email and I should be able to help you with that. Other than myself, Curtis Smith, Jeff Head, Dan Collins are a few trustworthy rock sellers who have fair pricing and good service.

This was a really good instructive video. Thanks. I seem to be breaking more lately but I think it’s because I’m getting more brave at the secondary thinning.

Thanks Doug! Pay close attention to your end to end support. It will help lower your breakage rate. 👍

Thanks! I found it recently on an Adena site. It had one small dimple on one side. I think they were using it as a nutting stone or anvil stone mabey.

Re: constructive criticism. I like to approach large/thick pieces more like spalling and less like bifacing. Low edges, steep angles, hitting higher above the edge and fairly inward. You should be left with a fairly flat and wide core that you can then biface as usual, plus some nice thick spalls (this is like the one thing I'm good at)

Thanks so much! I noticed the same thing when I reviewed the video. I should have been using a little heavier billet mabey a solid billet would have been better. I appreciate the advice!🤙

@@Bradmoore1979 To you for posting! I only ever use solid copper so I don't know how different a bopper is. If you like to experiment, I'm playing with the concept of vertical punch spalling. Like a blade core, but with beefy solid copper punches and strikers. Tricky, easy to overshoot, but I think it has the potential to maximize control and minimize waste
