The FGO fandom is the best Fate fandom out there. We literally ask people to get away from the game, can't get more wholesome than that.

Yep. It's weird, the Nasuverse fandom is a giant cesspool of toxicity but somehow FGO fandom has almost none of that. Sometimes I wonder if it's even the same people in these fandoms since the atmosphere is so different.
@@bobjones2959 You should take a gander at Beast Lair. The amount of butthurt, elitist old school type moon fans that just have complete, UTTER contempt at Fate GO and its fans is ridiculous.
As someone who has been in the fate fandom for years let me say one thing, the people who actually scare newcomers into getting into fate the most are usually the hardcore fans that want other people to start in the most perfect place possible (aka the way they want), so they end up fighting in the comments about the watch order scaring newcomers (when just taking the first step and starting at the place they preferred would probably be way more effective into getting them into the series).
this is true, to be honest i just watched whatever was released first which was fate/stay night 2006
The only right way to start a discussion about the watch order is saying there's no correct watch order and then leave.
Yup, this is 100% true. I got into Fate last year and it was Garnt's short version which helped me with the "watch order". The Fate/SN subreddit made everything confusing as fuck.
Yeah i remember there's a fate fan trying getting me into fate as the conversation goes on things is getting more complicated and i become more confuse while he's trying to explain fate

I’ve never heard a jojo fan complain about too many stands. It’s more about stands not really being fleshed out or just being completely irrelevant.
"There are too many sabers" is such a dumb statement (in general not in this comment though, I found this comment hilarious)
It's as corny as saying there is too many doctors in the world

It's actually funny how he mentioned how hype jojo fans are, because when I started it yesterday and told my friend who is a massive jojo fan, he proceeded to talk about jojo with me for an hour or so, it was cool seeing him so happy
Part 1 wasn't bad by any means, but I feel like most of the people that start the anime are expecting stands and crazy powers but instead we get Hamon and Vampires. Part 2 was the same as part 1, but I feel that Joseph made it even more entertaining with his attitude. Part 3 is long and has a very plain protagonist. But it compensates with the return of Dio, side characters and the introduction of stands. Part 4 and 5 have a really good plot with the adventure of finding out the identities of their antagonists Kira and Diavolo. Part 6 has an amazing cast with completely new characters. And finally both part 7 and 8 are intriguing and fascinating because of the new world that is presented and I feel is the 2 parts that have the most of that "Aralia style" that we all love.
No. I'm sorry. How does part 3 compensate with the return of DIO? He's barely on screen, when he is he's just there in the darkness, being a drama queen, spewing cryptic sh*t or just messing with the people he's talking to. And when he does finally properly return, it's just another stand battle (stand user gets introduced, they struggle against him, Jotaro pulls a previously unseen ability of star platinum and then he wins), only slightly longer. It's about as compelling as my pfp
I think that for a lot of people Part 1 just felt generic in the middle and kinda melodramatic throughout. I find curious that people think that Jotaro is plain when he is basically written to be a guy trying to act though when he is in reality he is quite the Jonathan. He is a Teenager/Adult passing through an edgelord phase, which makes him intrinsically funny (to me at least).
I don't think that JoJo has any actually bad parts by any means, it just that in parts 1 and (maybe) 2 Araki didn't fully find what JoJo should be about yet. Because of that, i don't understand why the JoJo fandom is so against the idea of skiping parts. Maybe someone who skiped parts might be more inclined to comeback to those skiped part because he simply grew to apreciate the great work that is JoJo, meanwhile someone who was not feeling it in part 1 just might never comeback. Anyway, it is just weird that there is such a pushback against that.
@@floricel_112 Dio is always a drama queen who spews cryptic shit and messes with people
And also while it’s a very good comparison, Dio vs Jotaro is a more compelling then you’re profile pic
Also you didn’t mention that the battle is absolutely awesome (I suppose like you’re profile pic)
@@oimate6357 don't really see the "compelling part" of the fight. Neither of them met each other up until that point, so it's not like they that any history. Jotaro thought of him the same way he thought of all his previous opponents: that he was scum. And Dio didn't see him as a genuine rival, even though he was wary of him as a Joestar. And Dio and Jotaro didn't really have any *personal* beef with each other. Sure, Jotaro's mom got sick because of him, but it's not like Dio did it on purpose to screw with Jotaro, nor was she the only Joestar affected. She was just collateral damage. It's not like with Dio and Jonathan, were the two grew up together, saw each other as rivals and clashed several times throughout part 1. Not to mention Dio attempting to ruin Jonathan's life throughout the years
Heck, Polnaref or Kakyoin vs Dio would be more compelling, because they DO have personal with Dio: they were both brainwashed by him and Polnaref even lost his sister because of one of his cronies
@@DarkHunter047 ahh you see those who part skip simply don't return to previous parts then get confused and then complain when they don't understand. Also I don't have anything against part skippers it is just what I have seen from part skippers.
I think it shows that I've got most of my friends into JoJo very easily, but they were adamant to start on part 3 for some reason. But I've only managed to get one friend into fate. However that one friend has also read the VN, watched Apocrypha and prillya, and played FGO, melty blood and extra like me. Jojo is easier to sorta fall into I guess. But the natsuverse is more of a dedication.
@@ZuuZuu2 i feel like the main appeal of JoJo is the memes. Fate has memes but you have to understand the series to get it. But with JoJo you can at least pretend to get it without having seen the anime.
@@ZuuZuu2 part 3 was literally made so you can enjoy it even if you missed some episodes lol
In other words, Fate is for nerds. And I’m a nerd.
if people can get into the MCU despite marvel in general having a more labyrinthine lore with even more parallel universes/timelines/continuities, people can totally get into any subset of the fate franchise
Exactly
I mean, there's A LOT less MCU content than Fate content. Remember, Fate has the games and the VNs, as well as the various spinoff novels.
well the marvel stuff is easy, there is a specified order and some tv shows (also with a specified order), there aren't games or other things that are considered canon that you need to go to a different place to get it, it's all on disney+ available right from the start.
I don't understand how people find a series with 2 animes that have 24 eps each and 3 movies to be hard to get into. The main timeline is literally all you need to know if you enjoy it then you can drift off to the other stuff like fgo, apocrypha, prisma illya etc.
You don't even need main timeline. I started with Apo instead. So is more you choose what you think is interesting. (Just ignoring the Fate Extra anime...and Grand Order). There rest are good starting points,Redline Fate/Strange Fake, Requiem (also sounds like this but i don't read it)
yeah but to a random person getting in to fate it looks really complicated and kinda kills your motivation to watch it, when I was planning to watch fate for the first time I was confused as hell because I kept looking for a "proper" way to watch it and I was completely new to the series, I got lots of images of the timelines of the series with words I haven't even seen until then, like heaven's feel ritual and fate/stay night visual novel, I was like "there's a visual novel? I thought it was an anime??", then after much time and research I just said fuck it and watched fate/zero then the stay night adaptation by studio deen then UBW, I started to understand stuff as continued to watch the series and since I did some research before watching it I didn't go in completely blind, then after reading a few stuff on the wiki and after finishing multiple animes I understood what the hell was going on, it's not super complicated however you have to know and understand stuff essential to the series, so to a newcomer who doesn't wanna put in the amount of effort I put in when I started watching the series, they would be put-off by the series and not watch it cuz' to them it's too complicated and not worth the effort, I was genuinely interested in the fate series and later on the nasuverse(tsukihime and kara no kyokai) so that helped in watching the series, also because I was just enjoying the plot, the lore, everything, all of it in my eyes was just so cool and interesting watching for the first time, so it was really fun watching.
Seriously, JoJo is far harder to get into as far as I'm concerned from sheer episode and series count given they're all main timeline compared to Fate's.
Well the problem is that it's not possible to find a watch order without spoiling other series, therefore everyone recommends a different watch order, and don't forget the 06 adaptation, it's also part of the main timeline
@@_rebix_7887 the problem with deen's adaptation is that it tried to mish mash all the other routes into 1 while focusing more on fate route, so it ends up kinda spoiling some stuff about heavens feel and ubw.
Connor: “Watch it in order”
Also Connor: “Fate is so hard to get into, I have to read/watch it in order”
It's so frustrating to hear them making the same points over and over again about Fate. Just pick a series and then watch whatever you want afterward, it's really that simple. People that make that it more complicated than that hurt the community.
We (fate fans) don't want people to spend money.... We just want someone to geek out with
I mean connors take is kinda weird because the anime was made to appeal to the visual novel fans so the visual novel is part of the story.Like i read the visual novel and then watched it in chronological order.Thats all you have to do.It is self contained.
so because it was made to appeal the VN fans then nobody gets to enjoy it? the experiences of all those who enjoyed fate without the novels are invalid? if you answer yes to any of those two questions then you can keep your fandom, because i dont want anything to do with it.
@@BioMatic2 im not saying you cant enjoy it just saying dont be confused why it seems complicated without reading the source material.
I'm a visual novel fan and can say without a doubt I wasn't appealed to.
Evangelion is defintely one of those shows for me where it makes more sense if you read external stuff that actually describes what happened because the series itself rarely does. Still love the series tho but the way the story is told really makes it hard to understand the first time you watch it.
Can confirm, Parts 1 and 2 had me on the edge of my seat.

Just watch Carnival Phantasm, the true Fate experience
2:28 "Look at this Fate Graph" ~ Garnt
The Fate fandom definitely seems both toxic and just a slight bit dumb, or at least the loud part everyone is familiar with. To new folks, don't stress watch order too much, most of the franchise is self-contained stories. That said, if you want a starting point, watch anything with Stay Night or Zero in the title. Aside from watching Heaven's Feel last, order doesn't matter, just watch whichever you find yourself enjoying. All you really need to get going in is that Stay Night '06, UBW, and Heaven's Feel follow the same basic story with different endings for each. Any thing else will be explained when it is really needed; if you are looking something that's actually important to understanding the story, you either have to be a bit more patient or have to make sure you didn't miss something because it either was or will be explained. If it actually wasn't explained, it doesn't have any major bearing on what you watched. The only exception I can think of might be the second half of Heaven's Feel, it gets really weird after a certain point, but even then everything actually NEEDED to understand the story will be explained.
Fate is really complicated, specially when you get into the whole nasuverse and Fate GO.
But I feel empathy to Fate fans saying read the visual novel, since I am an index fan and the anime adaptation screwed the LN over a lot
I was looking to get into index at one point, heard the adaptations where worse than fates and just decided to wait until I can be bothered to read the novels.
I feel like I really hampered my own experience with fate by watching the anime’s first, so I didn’t really wanna make that mistake again, especially considering from what I’ve heard the anime’s butcher toumas character worse than the fate ones do for Shirou.
I didn't really have a hard time understanding most aspects of the Type-Moon multiverse, though i attribute that to my time in the Transformers fandom and exploring that multiverse. So stuff like The Moon and TYPE Ultimates are as easy to process to me as Kiss Players and Multiversal Singularities are.
I know this video is just them poking fun at the fanbase and that they don't even read comments so i'm yelling at a wall here but, honestly the hypocrisy of Connor saying that Fate fans must've went wrong somewhere in their lives because they choose to invest time and read the source material of the franchise they like really bothers me. This is, after all, the guy who not only watched but also read the entirety of JoJo, in the time it would take someone to do that you could finish all routes of FSN and at LEAST get near the end of Hollow Ataraxia if you are a very slow reader.
I guess what i'm trying to say is: At the very least try to come up with a creative way to insult the Type Moon fanbase, saying we're losers and time-wasters is the most basic bitch thing you can do and it 90% of the time also makes you a hypocrite.
Edit: To further elaborate in the hypocrisy of his comments I could also point out how in the "Why Does Gatekeeping Still Exist??" Video at the 01:56 mark he talks about trying to "not discredit people for liking shows" and "tying their self worth to it" while he's doing exactly that here to what i would consider a mean and hurtful degree, saying that people went *wrong somewhere in life*, but we could probably just own that up to the fact that Connor is trying to provoke the TM fanbase here while also being upset at the criticism Gigguk's video received upon release.
Me playing fgo: spend time doing research of 7749 character's historical lores and fate lores and the symbol of their clothes.
I just want to have an official translation of the original visual novel. I'm too much of a boomer(and paranoid) to get it by....other means.
mirror moon is probably the best way to get an official translation, they "require" you have a legit copy but there are ways around it seeing as a 2003 game is hard to come by. The same applies for Hollow Ataraxia and Tsukihime
google is your friend
YOROKOBE SHONEN
I might be the 1% of Fate fans who actually really enjoys researching things related to fate and Type moon as a whole. There's a whole wiki website dedicated to unravelling the mysteries and confusions and lore about the nasuverse, and I see myself spending hours on that site, indulging every bit of information which will not benefit me in the course of my life.
I recommend Otakudai-kun and Tsiah IV if you want some TM lores.

I think the usual problem with Fate Fans is that they are really passionate about what they Love, and they want everyone to have the "optimal" experience so they can share their Passion. So thats why people get upset when someone says to start with anything that isn't the VN because I would agree that it's suboptimal, but even then it's not worth it to just hinder everyone from starting it in the way thats best suited to what they want.
I also think that they don’t want to creat Fate/Zero fanboys, because they are the worst.

I never found JoJo toxic, people just make them seem toxic because of the JoJo memes, which is immature but not toxic (Btw disagreeing with opinions is literally a thing in every fandom, idk why people make a big deal about it)
Honestly for anime part, the only confusing one probably comes from FGO because that one come from Fans for Fans.
And lets not talk about Extra Encore
@@every8160 FGO anime adaptations is easy and linear enough to understand tho (just skipped 5 story chapters). Actually, the "confusing" part was the main timeline (FSN) because people are arguing which is the best watch order.
Yeah, I'm diving in Fate a year ago and was like "People confused by this? But why? Can't they just watch them by the release date?"

@@501clonetrooper I am caught up to the One Piece manga chapter 1024 . And I will still say it is very different from 2006 fsn. Like just compare the high points of those series if you want.
I got into Fate in the most bizarre way, I watched Apocrypha first. I mean at it most basic level its two teams of seven with specific classes, the summoned servants are all heroic figures of legend such as in this case Jenna D'arch, Vlad the III and Achilles (and many, many more).
Masters who control the servants who are mages with unique abilities such as shotgun necromancy, mechanical spider machinery ect all vying to control the holy grail. It all was delivered in a way that it made sense, a little rushed here and there but I got the general premise.
I actually enjoyed it, I guess cause I wasn't spoiled by the far superior Fate Zero that I didn't have a 'well that was a let down', reaction. The fights were good, the characters solid and if that was the worst the franchise had to offer according to some then this was going to be an awesome series to get into.
Yeah, it’s tough saying, “I’m a Fate fan,” because it’s a huge mythos and I have so many qualifiers. I really prefer things closer to the original visual novels, and don’t care for the stuff that’s gotten farther away from them (i.e. I love the Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, Heavens Feel, Zero, and even Today’s Menu series, but I didn’t really care for the rest very much. Aside from a teeny little bit of Babylonia, GO and Apocrypha and Extella just didn’t do anything for me).
I wonder what level of fate fan I am when I haven't watched all the anime, never read and played the VN and FGO, but I think I have $1000 worth of Fate figures at this point. Apocrypha and Babylonia are such a fcking tease to figures I've never simped so hard for Ushiwakamaru, Ereshkigal, Jeanne, and Astolfo (yes I know he's a guy. I'm still simping)

Monogatari Series anyone? That shit is more complicated than Fate
nah not really, Monogatari is a single series of LNs with an anime adaptation that was only slightly released in the wrong order (mostly due to production issues and shit). Fate on the surface looks more complicated if you aren't used to the idea of multiple routes, and the anime adaptation is still incomplete (and that's ignoring the spinoffs).

It's not complicated, but from the perspective of someone who knows literally nothing about the franchise and they see so many similar titles with no idea how they're all related, it definitely *looks* complicated and that's the point.
It definitely........ how deep is it ? Depends on how you look at it

I was always annoyed of the JoJo fandom as well but after completing part 2 and rating it as 10 *ok it that make sense*
This is why I could never get into western comics. There’s so many universes and timelines that it’s almost impossible to figure out where to start
Anywhere really, like I only read 1 or 2 titles here and there and still got a basic of who are those and what they gonna do. Also, don't worry about being unfamiliar with a character if you see they act differently from one title to another, it's either they're being mind-controlled, or someone pretending to be them. Comic characters don't change, they got all the growth from flashbacks and origin stories.
You don't really need a starting point. Western comics gets rebooted every couple of year.
Then there is me who started with Carnival Phantasm
Fate fans: *Arguing among themselves*
Me who just asked for the watch order: *Visible confusion*
UBW or Zero to start, since they give the most solid foundation. After that, you are good for literally anything else.
I know it's a joke, but just use google and decide on you own
Just follow Garnt's advice -> ua-cam.com/video/UzNSWmokCdU/v-deo.html
Or start with Deen's Fate if you are brave enough
As someone who's been in the Fate fandom since reading shitty fansubs of the original VN and an FGO player since the game came out in the US, I pretty much don't bother getting new people into the series fandom unless they're actually interested in doing the lore dive. I'be watched all the anime and movies up to this point (with the exception of everything in the Prillya-verse because I'd rather not be on the P'do list)
People who get into it from the tired-as-fuck meme dead horses I usually steer away since I pretty much know they're not going to be able to take in Nasu's brand of craziness that comes with his stories.
Only reason i managed to watch all part 3 of Jojo was that years before i saw the OVA series of part 3 and i really wanted to see how they adapted the final battle with Dio.
Without that i would have been defeated.
In all honesty I kept telling this too people and even garnt brought it up and explain it to compile the clusterfuck community making it hard to get into.. as garnt said in his vid the canon series are Zero,Ubw,HF and ataraxia(light novel so this is also optional) and the rest was just extra and optional.. most were literally adapt from LN and games that the fans scream to be animated.. take babylonia series and camelot movie.. both were animated without the massive prequel road gap before it that nobody outside playing the game would know about. Thats is why the better term is watch the canons and thats it.. if u got the kind of thinking to go into everything to understand literally everything, just forget about getting into it.. you'll break ur brain for nothing.. point is just enjoy the canon.. if u got time and want more fun and action go ahead and enjoy the spinoffs and play the game cause its hell of a fun ride, just dont do thinking everything in too specific detail cuz thats where you'll utterly fail
8:20 Do you mean JoJo gets better after part 2?
Regarding Fate, took me like a week to figure out the watch order of the seasons haha
"People giving him shit because he watched fate zero before reading the visual novel". That's the craziest thing i have ever heard.
Fate zero is more enjoyable than the Visual Novel
@@freddiem6805 fate/zero is kinda meh.
Zero is okay, it's not what zero shills constantly hype it up to be but as a chuuni side story it's alright. The big gripe I have is that Zero spoils FSN, so if you start with zero like a lot of people here say to you're killing off a lot of the mystery and tension before you start, which is really important for a vn like fate(the primary work )

You're not alone. I did my research and learnt of the three story branches of the visual novel before they got adapted to anime, and got a general idea of where each entry of the series stood ("Apocrypha" is self-explanitory, if you look up the word's definition).
I kinda disagree, like fate on its own is like any other series, it's had it easy points and hard points but overall it's not to difficult to get into. "Secondary" has historically always been the go to insult for the Type-Moon fanbase. It was used in 2011 to deride F/Z anime-only watchers, and since then, it's has been used to pretty much exclude anybody who hasn't read the VNs from discussion.
The interesting about FGO though, is that it's also divided the Type-Moon fanbase into people who only like "classic" Type-Moon stuff like Tsukihime, KnK, and F/sn and the people who are just pretty open to FGO and new stuff coming out.
F/Z anime-only people are some of the most annoying things to happen though.
If you ever call someone a secondary I immediately lose all respect for you as a human being
I'm not sure how it's used now but I do remember that the term "secondary" was coined in response to certain Fate/Zero anime-only watchers being incredibly toxic and running around proclaiming Fate/Zero was gods gift to anime and the rest of Type-Moons work was trash and how both the UBW anime and the original VN were inferior in every single way... despite having never read the VN.
@@im_sorry_i_forgot_my_username It was in response to F/Z fans calling series like F/SN trash because it didn't pander to their taste. @@miteigi8334 I'm like 90% convinced that it wasn't supposed to be an alternate timeline but they say it is because Urobuchi contradicted the writing of the existing characters in several places. "You have a visual with three different endings"
And here's the thing:
people just ignore Visual Novel, mainly due to 3 reasons:
1. Less mainstream medium, so people don't know if they would like it
2. Long, so it can scare away because of commitment
3. Due to way Type-Moon is publishing stuff... let's just say if you are not in Japan, this particular VN is not the easiest in terms of accessibility

Not to be rude, but it does come off mildly hypocritical to criticize Type-Moon elitists for being so dissmisive of new fans yet so many people are dismissive of the visual novel. I'm just saying, maybe don't disregard an entire medium. There is a reason people want you to read it so badly, because it's very much worth your time. Especially if you like the anime. I'm not saying you HAVE to read it. No, do what you want. Just maybe have more of an open mind, the same way you want the toxic fans to.
There's a difference between not wanting to spend 50 hours of your *own* time reading a visual novel, and getting triggered when *someone else* starts watching a media franchise the "wrong" way.
@@bobjones2959 Sure, but it's not like there's a time limit on reading said 50 hours. Read one hour a day and that will take you roughly a month and a half to read. Again, I'm not demanding you read it. I genuinely couldn't care less. But again, refusing to try something simply because it's long just bothers me. I understand not everyone has all the free time in the word, but if, for example, you want to watch all of the mainline Fate anime (SN & Zero) it translates to roughly 34.5 hours, give or take. Including 06 but none of the spinoffs. I know 15 hours is a decent enough difference, but I doubt your entire media consumption ends there. It seems far more likely that it's not about the time commitment, but what you're putting that time into.
Overall, I have the feeling this thing goes both ways:
Situation A:
"Okay, how I get into Fate"
"Just read the Visual Novel. It is so good."
"Unfortunately, I am not good with reading and I don't know much about technical stuff as it is not officially released. Is there another way? I know it may not be "optimal", but I still want it"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT? YOU ARE PROBABLY JUST NORMIE SECONDARY"
Situation B:
"Okay, what is the best way to get into Fate?"
"Just read the Visual Novel. It is not adaptation, it is self-contained and you don't need to think about any order while reading that. Afterwards you can just go whenever"
"I don't want read anything, I want anime!"
"Okay, but it is more complicated, you see...."
"Why this is so messed up? Is there are no simple way to get into fate"
"Well, there is, but you just rejected it."
"WHY YOU KEEP PUSHING THIS ON ME YOU ELITIST PRICK"
@@vladprus4019 Yeah, no side is perfect. What it comes down to, is if you ask me, I say "The visual novel is the best way. Do whatever you want afterwards."
That's my recommendation anyway. I know including 06 is a point of contention for most, but I think it's overhated and has some merit. I've introduced quite a few people into the series at this point, have had zero people want to read the vn, but the people who follow my anime recommendation order enjoy it. I don't care how you do it ultimately, but I do give my suggestion if asked. To me if you're asked, be polite but give your opinion. If they follow, cool. If not, cool. It's of no concern to me. I do think if more people gave the vn a shot they'd enjoy it more than they think, but I'm not going to force anybody.
@@KingOfHart34 Personally, those things are one of the reason why I prefer Tsukihme as sub-franchise over Fate (I still prefer Fate/Stay Night over Tsukihime as singular work though). There are no numerous adaptations done with varying quality and out of order. There is really no "watch order" debate or anything like that.
Than again, there is some... dissatisfaction towards Grand Order with Tsukihime fans because:
1. It made Tsukihime Remake released way later (and overall took attention of the Type-Moon)
2. It "retconned" Tsukihime as being in slightly different setting than Fate (very small minority though)
3. Fear that Tsukihime later will be just like FGO (I am now reading Remake and it is still Tsukihime imo, just slightly different)

I mean..... Mostly all animes are ALREADY in a order when they come out, so if you have to just pick anyone at random and watch that already makes it complicated 'by anime standards' where mostly everything is in a set order.
@@justsomeguyontheinternet.4398 i mean I don't really see how it's an issue. It was adapted separately because it was originally a VN. If you don't wanna do that all you have to do it watch the Heavens feel movies after UBW. You only switch 2 things in the release order.
@@justsomeguyontheinternet.4398 I just suggest my friends to watch Ufotable's adaptation in release order first . i.e. Zero>ubw > heaven's feels. Then do whatever the fuck you want
eh, JoJo started in the 90s with an OVA for part 3 when they got to Egypt making it confusing for newcomers, but no one every says they get confused on the order of JoJo
@@thomasffrench3639 because no one watches a 90s show when there are clear better options, same reason why the deen adaption of fate never gets recommended
Here’s the thing with fate
Most of the series currently adapted are (usually) self contained in their own timeline separate from the others
The only time that certain things cross paths is in fgo
For example
In apocrypha
There are next to no references to fate zero or stay night besides the flashbacks to Mordred’s past cause ya know
Son of King Arthur and all that
Fgo (and technically carnival phantasm and grand carnival) are the only times that stuff crosses over
I’m probably wrong so let’s see how this goes
You're right tho
Zero, UBW and HF are the main titles. The rest, you can watch if you want, it doesn't matter. As a FGO player though, I still am waiting for other Singularities/LBs to be animated too...
You can always recommend Babylonia for the NPs and cool fight scenes.
@@AzureDragon100 its also a great recommendation to destroy speakers
@@Silver-Arrow hey, dubstep Enuma Elish is best Enuma Elish
don't forget Fate route, that one's actually pretty important too (though it doesn't have a super faithful adaptation yet unfortunately)
@@asshatt6908 fate route is the regular battle royale the holy grail war was always meant to be. Other than establishing the mystery of archer and why shirou is so good at projection, /Zero is "better" at delivering that experience
The fate series is only as complicated as you want it to be. Its because people seem to consider everything at once even though almost all of it except Fate Zero and FSN can be ignored at first. The only question that needs to be considered is do i want to take the ideal route with the FSN VN or do i want something quick with the FSN anime? That's all

Fate isn’t that complicated do you want Shirou to F Saber, Rin, or Sakura. The other fates don’t matter watch them after you watch Shirou F one of the 3. Garnt makes it complicated because he tries to explain how they fit in chronologicaly, but that doesn’t really matter.
