This subject really scares me. I have always thought that if cancer returned in me, the chemo drugs that worked so well on me before would work again and I could always count on them. Thank you Dr. Griggs for explaining this so thoroughly. I needed to know this. This is why research is so very important, finding different ways to attack cancer. I hope we, as a country, continue to fund cancer research to the fullest.

Your videos are so interesting! Your voice and serenity is really captivating. You make me wish I become a scientist...to learn more about those, somewhat scary, but fascinating things ! And your words are always positive and hopeful! Thank you very much! Lots of love from Lisbon ❤

Doctor, I diagnosed Stage 1, Grade 2 left breast carcinoma in CITU, HER2 +, but invisive. No hemo, no radiation recommended.
May I avoid hormone therapy? Is there some alternative treatment?
    Thank you.

How do we know that the endocrine therapy (such as tamoxifen) is even working to begin with? Is it simply with the absence of symptoms/ evidence of recurrence? In early stage breast cancer, with no node involvement - no radiation and no chemo done, what type of screening should be done to determine if there is already metastatic disease? My understanding is that breast cancer cells also travel through the blood vessels and not just through the lymph nodes.

Thanks for the explanation. Makes more sense about multi-modal treatments. I did read about how different medications work to kill cancer cells. It's pretty amazing. Thank you to all the healers out there!!

There are many research studies ongoing. Looking into the microenvironment around the cancer cell, too. I think they are also discovering that Her2 low cancers may also respond to targeted chemo. This aspect has not been studied much. You never know when something new will be discovered.
