The Peak and Decline of the Rippingtons and the Smooth Jazz Genre

The Smooth Jazz genre essentially died in the late 2000s after its heyday in the 1980s and 1990s. There could be many reasons why that happened, and they would probably be all valid in some way. But I will give you my take on how I saw it during its peak as well as the start of the genre's decline, in correlation to the music and albums put out by one of the genre's biggest stars-- the Rippingtons.
