@@arkscrew I do believe that people, who have positions of notoriety and a stage/microphone, should speak out on issues impacting humanity. Many people can only write letters, protest in the street, etc. But they (H&M) are using their positions to speak on issues of importance. I admire them for addressing racism, environmental issues, parental leave, etc. Just like I respect these individuals, who used their notoriety to address people issues: Angelina Jolie, who is an actress: Mahatma Gandhi, who was a lawyer; Eva Peron, who started her career as an actress; Nelson Mandela, who was a political leader; and I could go on. But I encourage people to not waste their voices on frivolous things, but speak up for the common good of humanity. If you have a stage and the microphone speak up for others. So many people are in this world for themselves. The Me people.

Alexandra is not the first woman to end her marriage because she had the hots for some other guy. But, as we all know, that's a passing phase that soon gives way to reality. And, as they say, reality bites. Each marriage/relationship goes through phases. It's not all starlight and passion. Life is mostly reality, the down and dirty, drudgery and boredom. You can't go through life on a cloud of love and lust. As you age and your relationship ages you have a more deep love that goes way beyond sex and passion - thank goodness.

Like all royal families, they divide up the work and dole out less significant patronages to the younger members of the family. Although, Marie has several important patronages from Henrik, even before his death, such as UNESCO. So you can see that although not the main line, Joachim and his family still have official and also informal family roles important to the royal family as a whole. All of his children have the same titles as Federico's children, so they are prince/princess and also count/countess of Monpezat. Joachim is an admitted Francophile, which is not Frederik and he, Marie and their children have returned to France where Joachim is involved in some unspecified military training and their children are starting school to learn French so they will grow up to be bilingual. . , or trilingual or more, since Marie has French Spanish and Danish while Joachim has Danish, French and English.

Since Alexandra played the role of a dutiful mother and "working princess", she always engaged in self-promotion and used her children to make herself look good. Joachim is a gentlemanly and decent man and she happens to be a bit of a barracuda. Who told the Hong Kong tabloid? The second husband could not bear her more than Joavhim. Joachim, of course, allowed his parents to stay in Shackenborg as long as they wanted. He really was always very decent to her and still is. I find her behavior towards her children to be, erm, a little creepy. Anyway, that's how I see things, since I've followed her since the beginning. I thought the marriage would not work out as soon as I saw the wedding photos. I have professional qualifications and can know a narcissist when I see one. Joachim probably didn't know what hit him when she would have started their marriage by making demands.
