Right? Where did our generation lose its way?
We got awesome shows and cartoons like these made by the adults of our parents' generation for us,
now we're the adults making the shows and cartoons for our kids' generation and their kids' generation, and it's made more for us.
Compare the Batman TAS cartoon that aired on Fox Kids in the 90s to the current day Caped Crusader cartoon. Definitely NOT for kids.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold worked for kids and the adults watching their kids' shows with them.
I often watched youtube channels like this with my nephew, with 90s cartoons like Eek the Cat. I had the Tick on DVD and before Disney bought Fox, we'd watch the 90s Spider-Man and X-Men cartoons together on Hulu.
I don't get why we can't make just as quality cartoons/ shows for our kids and their kids, the recent X-Men 97 was definitely NOT for kids.
@@MRF1983 people wanted cartoons to be more “mature” so that’s why you end up with shows that show stuff like that.
I’ve watched a few kid-friendly cartoons recently though.
There was a time when Saturday Morning blocks like this were hard to find on UA-cam. Your videos are like eight flippin hours long. Thanks for what you do dawg

WOW. That M.A.N.T.I.S. commercial at 9:56 brought up a lot of memories of watching that show together with my family when I was a kid 🙂
Fun fact, the actor who played the title character in the M.A.N.T.I.S. was Carl Lumbly and he later went on to be the voice of the Martian Manhunter in the early 2000s Justice League cartoon.
