When sillier episodes would play, this would be the theme, and the english cover was used for more serious covers. It might be the other way around, I forget.
They actually wanted it to feel like an anime so they made the intro sound like an anime intro and had a English and Japanese version of the song made to sound like an actual anime intro
@Extra365 Wrong, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi was actually being pitched to the network or was in development before Teen Titans. Then when Teen Titans needed a theme song, Sam Register, creator of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and a fan of PUFFY, suggested that they used PUFFY. The Teen Titans theme was what helped sell Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. I haven't heard of people generally "hating" PUFFY because of the cartoon.
this song means a lot to me because it was the first Japanese song I ever loved and got me into my love for anime and manga and Japanese things overall. I'm proud to call Teen Titans my 'First Love'. lol :D
Well they use the Japanese Version of the song on the silly episodes and the english theme on the serious episodes. The theme actually tells you what kind of episode its gonna be. The producers themselves said it on one of the Teen Titans DVDs.
I remember when this show would come on I was hoping it would be the Japanese theme. I think it was because of this song that I got hooked onto Japanese music and I love it! :)
I didn't know they ever did it in Japanese until I heard it on one of the episodes shown on Cartoon Network a couple moths ago. Thanks for putting it on UA-cam!
I can't find this on I-tunes :( They've got the English version, but I like this one better :( Thanks for having it on UA-cam so I at least know how to find it when I feel like listing to it!!! :D
i grew up with Teen Titans. its embaressing that i still like it. i missed ALOT, i don't think i've seen but the first and 3rd seasons and not even all the episodes. i've been meaning to watch it and i'm going to soon hopefully
Fun fact of the day: they used two different languages depending on what kind of episode they have: if the theme song is sung in Japanese we have a silly episode and if it’s sung in English we have a serious one
they do the opening themes in japanese if its a silly episode, they do it in english when its a serious ep. :) And its ami and yumi. thanks for the upload. xo.
I remember going upstairs every night at 9:00 just to turn on Teen Titans. Doing that, I saw all the episodes and the movie, but after about 2 years, its still one of my favorite anime today. Teen Titans GO!
whoa, I can understand a part of it :D (besides the "Teen Titans Go" bits XD ) watching loads and loads of anime in Japanese really pays of :D hahaha.... the lyrics are so random and funny XD anyways, awesome :D Teen Titans ftw ^^
They play it in the older episodes. YOu can tell when it's japanese, the beginning sounds different. If theres one thing I miss, it's the old opening, where they actually sang the 'T-e-e-n t-i-t-a-n-s, Teen Titans, LETS GO!
oh This takes me back! I remember when the little titan Larry sang the Japanese version of the theme but off key. lol I miss this show. Cartoon Network PLEASE bring BACK this SHOW! IT'S A MUST!
I was around 13 when this aired and seeing as childhood is anything before 18, it sure as hell was a part of mine. It rarely airs these days either. Not to the extent of consistently enjoying it anyway.
@BlazingPhoenixX That's exactly true except for the first season. The very first episode to use the Japanese theme was Raven's Nevermore episode, which was pretty serious. She freaked out on Dr. Light in the beginning. But after that season, yes, the goofy episodes had the Japanese song and the regular (mix of both comedy and seriousness) and serious (a bit more serious and even dark like when Slade's memory almost killed Robin) episodes had the English theme. One can tell by
Fair enough~ I myself lost interest in football in my early teens. And even now I get a bit jealous of friends who still get a buzz out of it. Kinda sucks... ^^
I wish they'd give us another season or movie or something. Can't help but feel that the series ended with a few questions left unanswered, and the movie was excellent but didn't handle the loose ends. And it'd be interesting to see if/how the team dynamic has changed due to Starfire and Robin dating.
it's on a few of the season 1 episodes. They use this theme for the more silly episodes and there are just more serious/plot driven episodes in season 1.
omg i remeber watching this show before i knew what anime was, and my sister and i watched the episode where they had the japanese theme instead of the english one and my sis and i were like what are they singing, and now japanese music is all listen too lol :3
Hey you do know that the person singing the Japanese song in 'Fractured' is actually the voice of Tommy Gilligan from Kids Next Door (He's Number 2's brother)..... It's interesting how well he sang it in japanese
They have a new season coming out, except not the same Teen Titans. It has all the same voice actors, but the animation is different. It's called "Teen Titans Go!" and will air April 23.
loved that they alternated between this and the the English version in the show.
When sillier episodes would play, this would be the theme, and the english cover was used for more serious covers. It might be the other way around, I forget.
yes omg i forgot they did that !! it was so great
Ninja .J YEEEEEES
@@GPP.Artwork sure was . It rocked !
They actually wanted it to feel like an anime so they made the intro sound like an anime intro and had a English and Japanese version of the song made to sound like an actual anime intro

Definitely my favorite western animation cartoon as a kid. No questions asked.
Yugioh is my favorite anime.
Haha, this cartoon easily blurs the lines between the two.
this song means a lot to me because it was the first Japanese song I ever loved and got me into my love for anime and manga and Japanese things overall. I'm proud to call Teen Titans my 'First Love'. lol :D
Oh childhood, I fvcking miss you so much!
you can cry now
this song sounded so much cooler when i couldnt understand the lyrics when i was younger
Well they use the Japanese Version of the song on the silly episodes and the english theme on the serious episodes. The theme actually tells you what kind of episode its gonna be. The producers themselves said it on one of the Teen Titans DVDs.

The guitar riffs jesus take the prndle i cant. I memorised the japanese version when i was little: slowly starting to come back to me :D

I love this version!! :D
I never realized how much i missed Teen Titans till i saw it on CN again lol!
I miss this anime ; _ ;
With all the Japanese music I listen to now, I can't believe this is the first song that I heard in Japanese. But that makes things better :D
de las mejores series que pasaron en CN.
Yo nací en 2010 pero he visto la serie del 2003 de los teen Titans
I can't find this on I-tunes :(
They've got the English version, but I like this one better :(
Thanks for having it on UA-cam so I at least know how to find it when I feel like listing to it!!! :D
T-E-E-N T-I-T-A-N, Teen Titans, lets go! Nostalgia :D

Wooaah... My life flashed before my eyes. I never knew that the theme song was SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO long!!!

i grew up with Teen Titans. its embaressing that i still like it. i missed ALOT, i don't think i've seen but the first and 3rd seasons and not even all the episodes. i've been meaning to watch it and i'm going to soon hopefully
they would air this op on cartoon network sometimes.. i would always turn it up and sing along.. i like both of them
best version of this theme! love me some j-pop from time to time.
Fun fact of the day: they used two different languages depending on what kind of episode they have: if the theme song is sung in Japanese we have a silly episode and if it’s sung in English we have a serious one
that would be beyond hillarious :D
i love how they used both the english and the japanese versions in the show.
This song will always have a place in my heart
they do the opening themes in japanese if its a silly episode, they do it in english when its a serious ep.
:) And its ami and yumi.
thanks for the upload. xo.
I am glad they are bring it back! :D It has been way too long...
Has been a long time thank you
I remember going upstairs every night at 9:00 just to turn on Teen Titans. Doing that, I saw all the episodes and the movie, but after about 2 years, its still one of my favorite anime today. Teen Titans GO!
once a fan, always a fan
I love the Japanese version! It is so cool. :)
whoa, I can understand a part of it :D (besides the "Teen Titans Go" bits XD )

LOVE TEEN TITANS MY FAVE SHOW
They play it in the older episodes. YOu can tell when it's japanese, the beginning sounds different.
If theres one thing I miss, it's the old opening, where they actually sang the 'T-e-e-n t-i-t-a-n-s, Teen Titans, LETS GO!
Japanese version talks about being teens.
English version talks about being titans.
This brings back memories ^w^
Full Version of this song is so fricken great, especially at the bridge :3
I LOVE IT!!!!
OH, so that s why it was japanese in the 'Fractured' Episode? That was one hilarious episode my friend XD
Be it english or japanese, they sound awesomely cute anyways! 8D
thanks for the upload!
oh This takes me back! I remember when the little titan Larry sang the Japanese version of the theme but off key. lol I miss this show. Cartoon Network PLEASE bring BACK this SHOW! IT'S A MUST!
Why is it that when a song turns japanese, it becomes so much better ? :D
Ah thank you. Where do you live, so I may come and hug you for putting up this video?
The game store near where I live plays this almost all the time!
I was around 13 when this aired and seeing as childhood is anything before 18, it sure as hell was a part of mine. It rarely airs these days either. Not to the extent of consistently enjoying it anyway.
:) Love that song.

love it in english or in japanese both are very good!!!!! thanks!
stopped watching cartoons at 11? i weep for your childhood, but envy how much you've probably gotten done
a friend of mine actually sang this during p.e. in japanese. Ah, flashback. taha
Teen titans, go!!!! :D
Fair enough~ I myself lost interest in football in my early teens. And even now I get a bit jealous of friends who still get a buzz out of it. Kinda sucks... ^^
I've been watching teen titans sense i was 4 and now I'm 13 and i have not stopped yet . teen titans rule
The only Japanese show based on an American super hero that will stay close to my heart!!!!!!!
I wish they'd give us another season or movie or something. Can't help but feel that the series ended with a few questions left unanswered, and the movie was excellent but didn't handle the loose ends. it's on a few of the season 1 episodes. They use this theme for the more silly episodes and there are just more serious/plot driven episodes in season 1.
Best opening theme ever.
esta genial =D
懐かしい😂
definitely among my top 5 fav shows as a kid right up there with megas xlr if anyone remembers that.
omg i remeber watching this show before i knew what anime was, and my sister and i watched the episode where they had the japanese theme instead of the english one and my sis and i were like what are they singing, and now japanese music is all listen too lol :3
I LIKE THIS SONG!!! I CAN UNDERSTAND SOME OF IT!!!
Hey you do know that the person singing the Japanese song in 'Fractured' is actually the voice of Tommy Gilligan from Kids Next Door (He's Number 2's brother)..... It's interesting how well he sang it in japanese
xoxoxoxoxo
That awkward moment, when you can sing this by heart and you don't talk Japanese...
They have a new season coming out, except not the same Teen Titans. It has all the same voice actors, but the animation is different. It's called "Teen Titans Go!" and will air April 23.
I have a thing for this in Japanese as well, very thanks lots!
best part about this video is that it doesn't have incorrect ro-maji like all the other videos with lyrics do...
This was always the hyped version 😂
They used this song on the funny episodes.
And used the English cover for the serious episodes.
+Moitri Kazi I don't know if you knew this but the translation is the same song the characters sang in "Trouble in Tokyo" at the end.
Florian Benson
Yeah! Beast Boy's Karaoke Part!
ahhh that's where I remember it from
Omg this is the shit!!! :D
I used to love Teen Titans... still do :)
Teen Titans isn't a cartoon... It's a lifestyle.
Lol, me too! I love this version!
this is so being my ringtone, IDC IF IT RINGS IN MY UNI SEMINAR >:)
90's kids were lucky enough to be a part of Teen Titans
Dont forget early 2000s kid
I love how the Japanese version is completely different from the English one.
my infance in a song. ❤
