Why does everyone worry SOOO much about shoes. You can't even see them
I was just really bored until they told me that the dress the pockets. I just sat up and shouted "wait POCKETS?!?! I don't even have pockets on my jeans and this dress does?!"
Are jeans somehow different everywhere else from where I live? (Middle Europe) Because my jeans have two front and two back pockets, I can't live without them!
IceCranberry some jeans, especially girls/women’s don’t have pockets at all! 😭 however, my wedding dress had pockets and it was the best!!
nonrondc123 USA? That's unfortunate, as I said, here they have even four pockets and I love that.
IceCranberry most in the us of four pockets but they’re always tiny and sometimes fake
Atleast the bffs weren’t snakes to one another!
Sam Ash yeah that was great and very unusual, I feel like most brides or friends here have some drama going on
At my sisters wedding last year, I was one of her bridesmaids so we had to wear heels. But right by the dance floor there was a basket of flip flops for all the girls at the party. Smartest thing I’ve ever seen 😂
Or also a basket of ballet flats with all sizes for everyone 😁👏🏽
Ava Ray omg I’m so doing that for my wedding... god willing I can find a bf first tho
My cousin did that to for her wedding! It’s actually genius, every wedding should do it
That’s actually pretty normal for 15th birthday parties in Brazil and probably for quinceañeras too. I haven’t been to any weddings in Brazil though so I’m not sure about those
I like this better because when two brides do the appointment together they end up fighting or jealous of the other but this one they are so nice to each other
Ally Hancock yes I thought so too. plus they waited for each one to have their turn. It was nice of the other friend to wait and support her unconfident friend
That doesn't happen with the best friends that are so close that they are sisters.
Dude's been working how long is this industry and he's shocked a bride wants to wear sneakers? I'm sure she's not the first.
Carter Pewterschmidt I would be that type of person who would wear sneakers if it's longer and suits the dress you should be comfortable not wearing heels that at the end of the day doesn't pay off and is easy to walk
"the back is nice, really flattering" *zooms in on back fat*
why is this show so shady?
That first dress was very “5 year old at easter party” lmao
Honestly, sneakers are way more comfortable than heels so if I see a bride wearing sneakers on her wedding it wouldnt matter I mean its her big day so.
“Will you say yes to the dress?”
“NO.”
His face when she said no to the dress
theyre not just trainers like some old dirty running shoes lol, theyre a totally new pair of Converse (very common for modern weddings, my friend’s entire wedding party had them) and theyre even in white
fruit bat 🍒🦇 when I worked in a shoe store I had it happen more than once someone would come in and say I need the converse in a certain color... but Would need a bunch of them and have a list of sizes for a wedding party. Had a woman come in once for 16 pairs of converse for the ENTIRE wedding party the men and women.
Yeah, I think they might actually call those trainers in the UK tho. I mean idk but British English is different than American English so
Liv ORourke dont worry lol we call them converse too they just couldn’t say the brand name on the show 😌
@@livorourke2369 David Emanuel switched back and forth calling them "trainers"...but also calling them "sneakers".
I loved the second dress on Alice...surprised to see someone who didn't SYTTD that everyone else clearly loved on her.
this is the first girl who I've seen say no. And and honestly I'm so happy for her for sticking with her instincts and choices. keep those shoes they're so cute and search until you find the absolute perfect dress for you. dont let anyone else tell you otherwise
Person: I'm doing or wearing something unconventional for my wedding.
Old person: OH MY
Old person? Not person 2, or David Emanuel? Not the host of the show, or the world famous wedding dress designer? He’s relegated to simply being the old dude now then?
I’m old....I’m conventional......and I hate when people do stupid shit like wearing sneakers to their wedding....but she’s not my daughter......
@@Margaretcs0103 thank god she isn't, you sound as if you don't care about her choice
I'm a bit paranoid, so I was thinking of secretly wearing like Vans or something at my wedding and prom so if I ever needed to run, I could. No pencil skirts or mermaid dresses either, I need full movement.
splashwater135 makes me think of "I came here to kick ass and drink milk, and I've just finished my milk." Me too tho
damn, not even getting married yet and you've already planned your wedding escape plan
Yeah I'd be the same, even for my wedding! And if the dress is long then it'll cover the shoes anyways.. I guess my girlfriend will be the one wearing heels haha
Finally someone said NO! I was like, is this show rigged? And behold I have my answer
I remember watching a video where a girl had been on the Irish say yes to the dress, she said that the show airs often before the wedding so its highly likely the guests will see what your going to wear before the day. She also said that she didnt actually say yes, but had said if xyz situation/ dress was different she would be saying yes. They edited out what she said and just made it look like she'd said yes when she hadnt.
She also said that the shop wanted her to pay for the dress before she left the shop, even though she wasnt convinced she wanted the dress.
Ive also seen a few pics online of different weddings where brides went on one of the shows and almost all of them didn't wear the dress shown on TV.
ugh why are people always judging so much? its really cool that she wants to wear trainers at her wedding let her be
Dr Quinzel i agree! i love the idea of her wearing her converse under her dress. such a nice statement and they would make for really interesting photos 😊
What an anticlimax when she said "I'm not gonna say yes to the dress". Awesome move though, if you don't like it, ditch it girl.
I don't mind the shoes but the first dress was not working
I wore white converses on my wedding day. I was so comfortable. I did the whole heel thing on all the other pre-wedding parties and I almost fell each time. Loved it x
I wore sequin converse for my Prom, and I wasn't the only one who didn't wear heels
Fran Johnson that is so cute! I'm wearing my red converse to prom and a crop top and short skirt dress. It's good to be comfortable so you can dance and have fun! It looks adorable as well!
The trainers make me giggle, but she's special. I love her sticking to her footwear choice. 2nd dress is such a beautiful cut and shape and style on her. 3rd drsss was nice too
She Will Be "SO COMFY"...
SHE Can TRULY ENJOY
"HER" Big Day !!!
"NO FOOT DRAMA" !!!
It's *her* special day.
*her* wedding.
Let the girl wear trainers.
Short wedding dresses are ugly to me
Dahzia Staley they look like prom or bridesmaids dresses. long dresses are for weddings
I do not think so my mother had a short dress and I saw the photos. And she looked awesome
They look like the dresses my mum would put me and my sister in for Palm Sunday to go to church when we were children
Anyone else thought "lesbian couple" at the beginning ?
I sure did. Because they are very plain and butchie looking to me.
Me too girl me too
Naomi Meisels my mom actually wore sketchers to her wedding so it is a thing lol
Naomi Meisels omg do you like the Bella twins if you do great for you the Bella twins are awesome
God damn it who cares if she wears sneakers to her wedding?!?! She seems like a great person and it's the 21st century. It shouldn't be unusual for her to do that.
simone. .murial. i mean i like sneakers too, i am not very girly tbh but come on its a very special day, heels are uncomfortable sure but you only get married once (not always but you get the point)
average life But if someone doesn't like heels at all, it would feel how wearing sneakers feels to you.
The Sniper its fine if you dont like heels but you could choose something more elegant than sneakers
I love how this is treated like an odd request when I legit know about half my friends from college wore sneakers for their weddings.
Dresses 2 and 3 were great on her. That red headed consultant is so adorable.
that guy was being incredibly rude. She can do whatever she wants. It's her choice, not theirs
I understand that, but I think it's mostly to do with the fact that it's kind of messing up the purpose of his dress. Then again, it is a business!
Stephany Foote yeah but who the fuck. Wears sneakers to a wedding?! It's just not right has her diabetes or her heat disease gone to he head?!
@@twentyblurryvesselsatbest8135 as a person with type 1 diabetes you should really shut up and not use it to insult people when its a serious disease.
@@lacysydney2513 I think she was meaning Type 2, you can't prevent Type 1.
this is exactly why i don't wanna get married. its supposed to be ''your'' day but the second you don't follow the stereotypical rules everyone goes nuts. i haven't worn a dress for a single day in my life. i don't like them. soo why should i spend soo much money on something i don't even feel comfi in, just to make other people happy. hell no. it's her day and she should wear whatever the hell she wants
chiraine1 my mum didn’t where a dress on her wedding day, so it’s completely up to u
I think it's up to the people YOU choose to surround yourself with.
I know for a fact that altho my mom would like it, if I were to wear sneakers at my wedding they would accept it. It is my wedding after all, it's my party.
So will my friend, they will accept whatever the hell I choose to wear, otherwise they wouldn't be my friends, and would not be invited to my wedding.
Do you who cares what people think.. They don't have to come if they don't like it
chiraine1 a white silk romper would be equally as beautiful as a dress... I was thinking of wearing a white romper to my reception. It's all up to you
My sister in law wore a beautiful long classical dress and beige vans & looked absolutely amazing (it was even cuter when you saw that my brother wore black vans so they matched)
I love how encouraging they all are and how the best friend is pushing her to step out of her comfort zone but doing it in a positive way. I love it
Honestly, I would wear sneakers on my wedding. I never wear heels and shoes are so much more comfortable
I wore nice ballerinas. They were also barely not visible under the skirt but my feet loved it all day long. I don't wear high heels in normal life so why torturing my feets on my wedding day?
their men even look alike!!
She can wear whatever she wants, but if I were to wear flat shoes, I would go with a white formal shoe
The amount of times I rolled my eyes at the dude, he’s definitely my least favorite out of all the shows
I live how supportive her friend is. It's so nice to watch.
Why wouldn't you want to wear converse? Yes they look glamorous and everything but they can get soo uncomfortable. I'm wearing converse to mine.
A. Ham and wedding dresses are comfortable? I don't really think so.
Stop judging. Just let her wear her trainers. I think it's really cool.
As a child, I wanted to wear converse sneakers. These days I want to wear flats or no shoes at all
I am glad these ladies have each other and their families for support. I did not see the long version, but I hope the girls are each other's Maid of Honor.
I love that she's wearing comfortable shoes for her wedding
I would do the same
Personally, I would be so nervous wearing heels just for the fact that I never wear them and I would be so worried about tripping. Though if I wore them, I would rather have a long dress to cover them. When she was wearing the shorter dress, she looked like a little girl that was forced into a dress as opposed to a woman ready to get married.
DON'T TAKE YOUR WHOLE FAMILY DRESS SHOPPING
Take your mother, sisters, and maid of honour. You don't need all of your aunts and cousins there too. That's what the wedding is for.
I would wear sneakers to my wedding
sophie m yeah cause its more comfortable. You won't wanna fall over by wearing heels and embarrass yourself
Alice is really lucky to have amazing best friends, a mother and a sister to help her choose the best wedding dress that fits for her. She really looks stunning for the wedding dress they choose. Congrats to you and to your best friend.
This is the first video I've seen where the best friend is soo sweet😊❤️
it is her day and she can wear whatever the hell shoes she wants to wear...
I would wear a huge puffy princess trype dresss with trainers, but if she wear a shorter dress than she could possibly wear trainers.
I wore converse high tops with my grad dress. ill most likely wear them with my wedding dress lol
I love that she didn't bow to pressure and say yes to something that wasn't her dream dress. It's sad when you see women get talked into dresses that they aren't completely inlove with.
A few years ago, I was in a friend from high school's wedding - the groomsmen wore black converse, bride wore white glitter cons, and we bridesmaids wore glitter converse (two wore black, i found red glitter cons!!!)
Totally epic. And I Still tripped on the way up the steps 😂
ok sooo? my sister in law wore green converse with her dress and it was so fucking cute
People wear boots with there wedding dress! Personally, I think this is better!
I don’t get why it’s a big deal. It’s her wedding, her choice, her life. It shouldn’t be a problem. But if I were to wear flats I would go with a formal shoe.
This is the most wholesome clip I've ever seen on a Say Yes To The Dress
Watch the transgender woman say yes to the dress that kne is really wholesome
I am so gunna wear converse for my wedding and my prom and anything fancy
Kìtténś Id wear cowgirl boots for wedding and a white long dress, converse for prom
I'm not rich enough for converse so I. Gonna be wearing pads. Jk, imagine that though
You can make custom ones on the website and you can make them say bride ;o
why is it such a big deal😂 I wore chucks to all my school dances, and both my proms, and I will my wedding too!😂
Wow I am really surprised she didn't say yes to the last dress! I really really liked it and thought she looked amazing in it! And I don't see a problem with the trainers/sneakers at all. I changed out of my heels into a little pair of canvas ones that I blinged up and used lace and ribbon for the shoelaces and danced the night away in them! I had fun, they were cute, and my feet were very happy! If it's the brides personality then let her do it! :). Oh and I got tons of compliments on my cute little shoes!
"it's got pockets"
"YES Dog treats can go in there" 😂 love it
Me me me me
In your wedding when you are literally confessing your love and MARRYING the person you love, why is it so important what you wear. Hell I'd wear my track suit.
Sadly some people lose sight of what coming together in marriage is all about and it becomes a big chance to show off and be the centre of attention 🙇♀️ I don't want to get married but if I did, it would be a tiny registry office thing in nice but comfortable clothes and then down the local pub for a few beers with close family and friends. That's it.
It's because it's a special day and they want to look nice for each other i gueyy
Me: h--
Girl who wore trainers to wedding: I'M A DORK I CANT HELP IT
#iMnOtLiKeOtHeRgIrLzZz I have one tattoo so I’m so ALT 🤪 ((probably her))
My aunt had sparkly converse for her and her bridesmaids, they were so pretty with bright yellow dresses and a dark blue bow
This was a thing in South Africa and I don't see a problem with it. it's nice
She has an amazingly supportive entourage and it’s great. Every bride deserves this.
She’s got a good friend honestly
I'm planning on converse or vans under my dress because I want to be comfy and my dress covers my feet!
I wore £10 white canvas shoes with my £350 dress my feet were so comfy and running around with the kids was so easy :)
that last dress is stunning
“Give her more confidence” as he continues to judge and ridicule her for wearing sneakers 😂😂😂😂😂
Lovely, kind group. Glad bride still open to return and keep looking.
I don't understand why people have to judge, personally I love the idea of it.
Nothing wrong with converse... I'm wearing hi tops for my wedding!
I like wearing vans in all my fancy dresses just in case there's a zombie apocalypse
Her friend, the other bride is just the sweetest thing
I love the girls friendship.. so supportive and loving.
"Im not like the other girls"
"Im a dork! I cant help it!"
short fitted dress with trainers? looks cute
imma wear sneakers on my wedding day but definitely a dress long enough to hide them 😂😂😂
Her bestfriend is such a warm person. She's so supportive of alice. :)
I swear I have never seen such an understanding and complimenting family and friends on this show ever. Noone was being rude or jealous or shady. Rare 😂
My friend got me hooked on watching “say yes to the dress” it’s so good, so if you see this... Hi Noel 😂 lol
Wearing converse? Me too girl. I love girls who're like me 😂❤
Team McAvoy imagine how comfy you would be. Ya girl can’t wear heels to save my life. Converse are real cute too.
Who said I can't wear my converse with my dress??? xD
What a really caring family and friends. I've seen so many mean family members and rude friends. This family is so supportive and not pushing the genre on her. And want to make sure she's happy
This is called “Friendship goals”😊😌😌 how I wish I could get 1
My best friend wants to wear wellington boots on her wedding day 😂
In every wedding I've been to (including my brothers) all the brides have worn some kind of comfortable shoe
The guy on the thumbnail looks like he's about to roast the hell out of those trainers.
I've worn Converse to church and it was the best decision ever. Whole day in heels would have killed me and my feet. We allowed guests to wear them too. It was fun! So many cool pictures of happy people in sneakers.
FINALLY SOMEONE FROM SCOTLAND!!! (I'm from Scotland)
Idc if she wears sneakers but the first dress was a weird length that made her look like a child.
😂😂Right?
Ikrrr 😂😂
Nienke Agreed. It reminded me of a First Communion dress a little girl would wear.
Made her legs look short. The dress was a really awkward length.
She looks 9...eww
