I heard that the paper becomes yellowish when exposed to the sun. Did you encounter anything like that? Also how do your documents come out, quality wise
I never had thermal papers exposed to the sun for long enough to see the effect, and I believe it depends on length and severity of heat. Also, this can happen with age, and I'm talking about years. My use case is different, as I scan them to be stored in Dropbox later.
@@ClearLooksThanks for letting me know. I guess this will suffice for me for the occasional document or resume before an interview then. I hate to run around and look for a place to print.
Goodday can you make a multiple printing video like 10pages please😊
Since there is no paper holder, it's not like your regular printer that can print multiple consecutively. Hence, each print will be repeat of feed then print :)
What kind of paper can you use beside what a come with what else size paper can you use in what kind of paper
You need to use thermal paper (link below). I'm able to use both A4 and Letter size even though the printer was sold as A4 printer. amzn.to/49Bp5ZE
Hi does the battery go causing it to only work with it plugged in the charging cable if so someone's sold me a faulty one 😮 as it will not charge up
Sounds like you got a faulty one, it should run on battery.
@@ClearLooks ok thanks for your reply much appreciated
mine is only printing out very small and its on letter
What were you printing? Sometimes if you print an image and the it appears big on screen but the actual image resolution is small. If it's a doc, then settings maybe wrong.
Can you not use this for tattoo stincel paper
Are the paper thermal, if yes it could work.
Mine doesn't print.. it says you must install the paper correctly..im sure that i followed the instructions correctly. Please help
Which one did you get? I wonder if there is anything different.
@ClearLooks it just worked when i used the papers that came with the printer.. i think it only accepts one kind of papers
@@kojarart3184 oh correct you'll need to use thermal paper. Regular printer papers need ink, either inkjet or laser toner. That's why thermal based printers can be compact and energy efficient.
Great video, do the colors fade away like small thermal printers?
Honestly good question. I'd assume any thermal printer prints would eventually fade away. I guess with portability some drawback is expected. I'm super happy with it though... I mean it's rechargeable 👍
@@ClearLooks have you noticed any substantial fading? I guess that if it takes at least 3 months to fade it might still be worth it. I have seen the print of a 80mm thermal printer completely fade away within the same day with minimal exposure to sunlight
@@winiciuscota8853 hummm... can't say about sunlight exposure but my documents haven't faded in folders though. I always back them up using Raven scanner becuase clients need copies and I just email them PDF from the scan. It works for my flow.
Hello - Thanks for the video - Question - Can you use regular paper or does it have to be thermal paper?
It has to be thermal. Regular paper would need ink either toner or cartridge, which would add significant bulk to the printer.
@@ClearLooks Thanks!
I just got one of these thermal printers and I need to print from a laptop. When I load the driver from Phomemo it won't load correctly? I manually loaded the printer's name on my laptop, and it shows up but says driver invalid. Anyone else have this issue?
Just for reference, I connected the printer to my laptop, turned it on, DL the driver and no success so far?
I haven't used it with my laptop. Since I got it for on the go, I primarily used it with tablet or phone. I'll try my laptop today and let you know. Is your machine Mac or Windows?
Ive tried everything, this just will not connect to my Pc. Has qnyone managed to get around this issue?
Hello . Can I print from my emails
You can but web email from within the printer browser app.
