This is pretty insane thay they are shipping it to a completely different state to get fixed, but the best part is Kolkata’s service stations are pretty nice specifically in Dhapa, Biplab da and all are very knowledgeable, I am from kolkata and also own a KTM, so I can certify that bike ab wapis chalti condition mein hi wapis jaegi, I feel how you must be feeling but dont worry everything shall be fine soon

thankyou so much brother. I've contacted the ASM there as well as Biplab about the same. and I chose Dhapa for the same reason that it will be fixed there.

for long touring and even in cities you can consider Triumph Scrambler 400x. Rest bikes are mostly for city except vstorm which doesn't have good service network
