The Oriental-Magpie Robin and the Spotted Dove are very common In Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. I see them everywhere in the New Territories everyday. Happy birding, happy holidays, Merry Christmas 🎄 and have a Happy New 2025 Year.
Yes. I love coming here for a walk because its a big place with different gardens. When wildlife decided to meet me, that is an added bonus. Thank you for watching. Happy holidays :D
exciting stuff as I shall be visiting from the UK in 6 weeks time. I'd be interested to know of there is a specific pond/location for getting the best dragonfly pictures. Very nice selection.
I usually spot the common dragonflies (3 to 5 species) at this bridge at Eco Lake in Singapore Botanic Gardens. At Kepple Discovery wetlands, Pulai Marsh area, there is a boardwalk with many pink dragonflies. (google map for your ref : maps.app.goo.gl/KAnQ6uVGKM6e5fqx5). I noticed when the water is dirty, or when the water level is low, I cannot spot any of them. Other than Singapore Botanic Gardens, you may like to try Bidadari Park, at the Mashland area. (google map for your ref : maps.app.goo.gl/jmMY5FbMUKjhDYfA9). I am not very good in dragonflies, but usually watch them when I meet them. Hope my tips above helps with your comming trip. Thanks for watching. Merry Christmas.😊
