i just found out about her last month. every time i turn into her streams its really relaxing and nice. she works so hard to say everything in english and japanese for her stream audience. its so cool to see her streams, i will miss her streams. i hope she has a good life

unfortunately I dont think she would be involved in public content creation. It seemed like she's just not feeling being a public figure anymore. Its entirely possible she could come back, but I dont think she will in the near future

@@magamisic5924 True, but that awful Hogwarts "nontroversy" situation left a bitter taste in everyone's (including mine) mouth. Pikamee was was of the kindest souls to grace the social and entertainment platforms, and made so many lives happy with her passions, her joy for life and and that damned kawaii kettle laugh. Many, if not all loved her for whom she was, our little kettle gf with boing boing. We can only hope that she will be happy, in whatever job or project(s) she will do. Maybe she'll return someday, but whatever she does, may she be truly happy, from now and to eternity.
@Stuck in College Coco always walked the line of controversy, but Pika was just trying to have fun and Aloe just got unfortunately fucked. I wish i coulda met her.

When the dookey hit the fan she went AFK and basically ignored it stating in her first stream after her hiatus that she spent time hanging with her mom and grandmother. She also mentioned that her dad is coming to Japan next month. As for her streaming she had streamed only about 100 times in the past calendar year unlike the year before so she may have either been burned out, or perhaps she founded something that really gets her creative juices flowing than just gaming, maybe landed her ideal dream job

I didn't watch Pikamee much, but I do remember loving the very few streams and clips I saw of her. And if Nux is willing to make entire videos on how much he appreciates someone, you know they are an amazing person (99.99% of the time).

I'd like to mention that for Nux to have supported his friends in ways that felt best for them in not one but TWO recent internet dramas (both were Twitter unsurprisingly), it just shows how much of a kind individual he truly is despite all the satire he brings. Thank YOU for being the kind person that you are. We will miss Pikamee, but you gave her one hell of a joyous send off.

I knew I had a bad feeling something big was going to happen in the VTubing community this year. To be fair, March was especially rough for whatever reason. But, this was one of the last things I expected. Not since Coco have I felt like the community truly lost something vital...
In Japan this is year end for taxation. The Vtubers that may have been somewhat popular but burned out, or have decided to do other types of content, or have gotten 9-5 jobs will usually stop their activities at this time of the year. (it's easier to do taxes from what I understand) - Pikamee isn't done with pikamee, she has to count up all of that revenue from her streams including todays massive amount of supas as well as the revenue from the pop up store
It hurts man, but knowing I'll be able to come back to this video and hear that signature tea kettle laugh makes it hurt that much less
4:07 He let his audience cook up a "wholesome" banquet as a send off to a very wholesome vtuber on her retiring day. As Nux's philosophy says, "be toxic to toxic people, but be wholesome to wholesome people", and this video, hopefully will exemplify the 2nd half of that philosophy well. I personally didn't watch the wholesome energy that is Pikamee, but I can recognize the impact she had. So this comment is to say goodbye to Pikamee, and the legacy she brought forth. Pikamee is such a delight. She's just such a little ray of sunshine, and while I'll miss her, I feel blessed to have had the privilege of watching her live.
It's sad to see her go but I'm glad Pikamee's last month was filled with positivity and good friends.

Funny enough, I never actually tuned into Pikamees streams. But eventually I'd catch highlights on UA-cam, or collabs on other streams, and every time she was there, it was always incredibly enjoyable to watch her and the others seem to just be overwhelmingly happy. It wasn't until her announcement that I actually started to be interested in catching her streams... But god, I respect all the laughs and joy she brought so many people, myself included, so much.
I think it's impressive that Pika managed to make me smile and laugh multiple times, despite me never actually being a consistent viewer of hers. Thank you for this sendoff.😊

I'd only ever seen her in clips or in collabs. However, today I had the pleasure of catching her stream for the first time and the last. She went out with a laugh and a massive smile.
After the stream ended I waited for the viewer count to reach 1, which was just me. She will be missed, but will forever remain pleasantly remembered as a truly wonderful person and Kettle.

It feels like vtubers have such a short lifespan and it really sucks, im glad nux started off as a youtuber and does mainly youtube content because It makes me hope that wont happen to him.
But there are multiple vtubers in nux's videos from just 2 years ago that arent around anymore and its really sad, ive been watching markiplier and jacksepticeye on youtube since I was 13 and they are still around in my early twenties but it seems like a lot of vtubers leave in a span of 3 - 5 years and its really depressing.
