They’ll never be an MC that leaves a legacy behind like this man. I’m 45 years old and this guy’s music still gives me the chills like when my man Tone from Brooklyn gave me his ear phones and let me hear a verse from Nas on a underground mixtape in ‘92. To this day I still can’t find that tape. I say that to say, everything thing on the east stopped when Illmatic dropped in ‘94. To say he’s the greatest MC is an understatement. He changed how to construct a album with different producers, he leveled up bars and he’s been consistent since ‘92. Salute ✊🏾
