बॉलीवुड इंडस्ट्री लता मंगेशकर के निधन के सदमें से उभर नहीं पा रही है. लता जी का निधन हर किसी के लिए एक आघात हुआ है. बॉलीवुड के हर दौर के कलाकार का लता के साथ गहरा नाता रहा. 7 दशक लंबे करियर में लता जी ने ढेर सारी गाने गाए. उन्होंने कई सारी एक्ट्रेस के लिए गाने गाए जिसमें हेमा मालिनी का नाम भी शामिल है. हेमा मालिनी के लिए लता ने बहुत सारे सुपरहिट गाने गाए जिसमें किनारा मूवी का गाना 'नाम गुम जाएगा' प्रमुख है. मगर इसके बाद भी हेमा मालिनी को ताउम्र एक मलाल रहा कि लता जी ने उनकी फिल्म मीरा के लिए गाने नहीं गाए.आजतक के खास कार्यक्रम 'श्रद्धांजलि: तुम मुझे भुला ना पाओगे' में हेमा ने इस बात का दुख जताया.

N in interview she was giving to her bro hradaynath ji..she told that wen Meera's bhajan recording was going on she was ill bt wen she started singing last song she felt very gd as if Meerabai was there..n after that she was admitted to hospital..so naturally she wouldn't sing these bhajans for a movie..
