Taikollaborative 2024 WDC concert

Taikollaborative performs Traditional Taiko songs, collaborative worldbeat and modern work. They often collaborate with a wide range of musical groups and events. They perform 3 songs: Takeno'ko (bamboo shoots) originally created as a simple exercise for beginners, Taikollaborative added movement and more complex polyrhythms to ramp up the energy. Korekara explores hand percussion expanding the definition of Taiko. Ready Set Kadon was writen by Sho'ji Kame'da for the global taiko community to share; just one of several works Shoji has composed to share toward the goal of connecting the global taiko community through shared repertoire.
