I realy appreciated your presentation, in the 35 th minute where you explain the kriging of the (local or global mean), I think the right side of the equation must be equal to zero because the local mean is viewed as a deterministic component.
Thanks for this excellent material!! In the 16th minute of this video could you please add more information regarding the derivation of the first linear constraint [Eq I.2.25 in your book]. According to my algebraic calculations, I found that ∑𝜆𝛽E[R(x𝛼)R(x𝛽)]+𝜇+E[R(x)R(x𝛼)]=0. Unfortunately, i am missing the minus sign in the E[R(x)R(x𝛼)] term. Could you please help me. Thanks in advance :)
Sir....I referred your book "Petroleum Geostatistics".... Very Easy language..makes me happy when I read.. Actually sir.. I have to present on "Ordinary Kriging"...Can you suggest any good topic on which I can present with real field data with good interpretation. Because it is part of my Internal assessment. Or you can simply elaborate the results of ordinary kriging and then I can think something. Actually I have less time. so I asked you. Sir, It would be great if you can help me out.
Thanks for the video,,,but the video is abit complex for application oriented users,, could you please kindly make a similiar video on how exactly kriging(any one type) estimates the value at any required point?
Glad you posted this, it helped me gain like 20% more understanding of it
This post help me to know about krigging method, thanks!

thanks for finding that, sure there are a few more mistakes.
Useful compact presentation. I think the right hand side of “Kriging the mean” should be zero.
Great video. Please which software did you use for kigring meta model???

Can you please make a detailed video focuessed only in UK? with maths

Thanks for your comment. The video is more intended to get a broad overview. I'll try to make application videos in the future
what are alpha and beta?? could you please define the terms in equations
x_alpha or x_beta are locations where we have data. so alpha and beta are counters, they go from 1...n=# of data in your data set
interesting, thank
