    FYI - I subscribe AND have the "bell" on your channel - but youtube is obsessed with showing me a whole bunch of stuff I could care less about, and I didn't even know you'd released parts 2-3-4 of this series. Glad to see the rest going on!

    Looks great and solid!! Curious why you use hammer instead of air nailer on some of the ends of trusses where it's difficult to operate...
    Do you need a permit to build shed such size in your backyard?

    • @GreenTechTown
      @GreenTechTown  Рік тому +3

      Good question. It's because I could not easily find the supporting building code info for the galvanized nails that can fit in the framing air nailer. The diameter of the nails my nailer supports are smaller in diameter than the traditional nails (i.e. 8D, 12D, etc.) used in construction. I found plenty of documentation/articles suggesting the use of traditional nails, so to keep the project moving, I opted to go the hammer route for any galvanized nails I used. I'm sure either route is okay, and I'd assume my local code will probably suggest I use more nails if I go the air nailer route. Also, for my area, I do not need a building permit if the shed is smaller than 120sqft.

      Hello what size are the walls

    • @GreenTechTown
      @GreenTechTown  Рік тому

      The front wall is about 8' 10.5" and the rear is about 7' 7".
      You can find more details at the following link regarding the dimensions for everything. I did modified some of the building plans slightly for my size door and windows I'll be using:
