FYI - I subscribe AND have the "bell" on your channel - but youtube is obsessed with showing me a whole bunch of stuff I could care less about, and I didn't even know you'd released parts 2-3-4 of this series. Glad to see the rest going on!
Wow, thanks for the feedback, and glad you checked back in!
Nice!🙂
Excellent video! Thanks
My husband turned me on to this channel. I’m really enjoying watching the process of this build.
Nice setting and good work.
nice job, dude.
I want to build one, though I do not know how. It would be so much fun. I am up for the challenge. Way too cool. Thanks for sharing. Priceless!!!!...
Go for it! You will learn a lot!
I see your problem, you ain’t got enough arms! 😂 All kidding aside, love how you use the clamps 🗜️ so smart and your editing is great. You also get the fact that guys love brevity with great content. Thanks for sharing.
Haha, thanks for the feedback!
wish i found ur channel earlier, great content
Looks great and solid!! Curious why you use hammer instead of air nailer on some of the ends of trusses where it's difficult to operate...
Do you need a permit to build shed such size in your backyard?
Good question. It's because I could not easily find the supporting building code info for the galvanized nails that can fit in the framing air nailer. The diameter of the nails my nailer supports are smaller in diameter than the traditional nails (i.e. 8D, 12D, etc.) used in construction. I found plenty of documentation/articles suggesting the use of traditional nails, so to keep the project moving, I opted to go the hammer route for any galvanized nails I used. I'm sure either route is okay, and I'd assume my local code will probably suggest I use more nails if I go the air nailer route. Also, for my area, I do not need a building permit if the shed is smaller than 120sqft.
@@GreenTechTown Thanks!!! From all your previous videos, I believe you have a good reason why and how doing every step of your work. Can't wait to see it done!!!!
@@GreenTechTown Great use of structural screw, good call!
Hi nice video just wanted to know what size you use for the roofing
The rafters I used are 2x8s (1.5"x7.5").
@@GreenTechTown thx for your reply
Hello what size are the walls
The front wall is about 8' 10.5" and the rear is about 7' 7".
You can find more details at the following link regarding the dimensions for everything. I did modified some of the building plans slightly for my size door and windows I'll be using:
