Zhao Lusi is Chinese and has done well to maintain her identity. And who says that there isn't good artistic training in China too? And who says she wouldn't have the same problems in Korea or worse? Korean idols usually stay away from (or are away from) their family, in C-ent we often see the family supporting the actors. We romanticize and overvalue Korean entertainment, just because it is currently popular, we forget, however, that a few years ago an actress committed suicide, because of abuses by her agency that forced her to prostitute herself at Korean high society parties, We forget about the annual suicides of Korean actors, we forget about the abuse that many trainees were subjected to... The majority opinion among C-ent consumers is that there are more quality actresses than actors. There is a wide variety of people acting, perhaps more than in k-ent, we are the ones who probably go after 2/3 names and forget the rest. Furthermore, there are dramas broadcast in China that do not reach international audiences or arrive much later.

I saw her earlier from her debut drama untouchable Lover but I didn’t notice her until Love immortality and definitely she became one of my favorite after Romance between Tiger and Rose. Loving the drama Guardians of the Dafeng. Brilliant acting. It’s refreshing, entertaining and funny. I have recommended it to friends and they love it due its slap stick comedy. So sad about the actress lusi. The industry need to take more care of their actors. ❤

She didn't have a stroke. She was diagnosed with Dissociative (conversion) Disorder with Anxiety Condition. This all can be traced back to the abuses she had experienced since beginning of her career.

Bai Lu is close to Rosy's circle of friends nothing wrong with that, and Bai Lu's best friend at the event was Luo Yunxi who has health trouble of his own. Just like Rosy, Lulu is overworked and disappointed by being slighted in seatings last minute in that event, and she left early after collecting the no value trinket that was only there for those physically attending. Bai Lu was there and showing her discomfort and probable exasperation that despite her friend's accident, she is pressured into doing things such as this appearance or playing 4 dramas back to back with no rest. No consideration for her health either! Rosy could not attend for health reasons as everybody knows, and that must have been on Lulu's mind too; they used to chat and laugh together at previous events of that sort. I don't understand. If this former abuse happened back in 2019, that would put ZL at about 21, and very early in her career. Of course, she would be afraid to say anything, and the effect would be so damaging. She is an amazing actress. That clip of the scene of her in a wheelchair trying to stand was from an improvisation workshop. Even the director/teacher was crying at the end of the assigned scene. She amazed me at the ability to go from calm to absolute heaving sobbing in a matter of minutes. I hope the netizens will back off on criticizing her weight and appearance. She obviously has lost a lot of weight and that can be dangerous for someone as petite as she is. She needs all the love and support we can give to get through this health crisis.

Hi 👋. Happy New Years to you and your family! Thank you for covering the entire ZLS fiasco. My heart still hurts because of everything and I don't even follow her or really watch many of her dramas. But just as one human being who knows about medical malpractice (and chronic neurological illnesses) and human misdeeds to another, I feel for her. I really hope she gets justice and the proper medical treatment that she deserves. She needs a good neurological specialist to deal with what she's going through right now and not to return to the entertainment industry until that doctor gives the complete all clear. I hope she leaves that agency and sues them for every penny they have. If she can't bring criminal charges against them maybe she can do something civilly like negligence for failing to get her medical treatment for four days before she completely collapsed. This is just so sad and disheartening. I think black and white forest could be slightly higher because I believe I gave it a 7.5; the actors acting was very good, but the plot was choppy and messy. As for Riverside, I gave it a 9.5. I think it did a phenomenal job in a lot of things and the actors really did a good job. There were a few bumps in the road but the score definitely should've been in the upper 8s on DB. That drama with WRC that wrapped, they started filming mid to late September actually not in October according to drama wiki and what he said on his post. So I'm looking forward to that one and a whole bunch that released posters and videos for the New Year's. I think I have be passionately in love on my watchlist, but I'm not sure I have to check. I may look into low IQ crime as that actor is very good and you are right, it's the first time I've seen him in a leading role and the drama looks interesting. C-netz make so much noise over a shirtless scene like they've never seen a man without a shirt before. The show is good and we finally reached double digits so I'm looking forward to where it goes from here. The FL is still a little too ditzy, but I hope she grows into her own at some point. IMO: ZL is suffering from exhaustion, abuse, and most importantly, malnutrition - she has lost too much weight, has no body fat or muscle mass - so her body will take the nutrients it needs from her brain and internal organs. Why the "beauty standards" of this industry requires human beings to look like anime characters is beyond realistic or reasonable - it is sadistic and criminal - we will see more medical and mental collapses of beloved actors and actresses if this trend does not stop - I fear Luo Yun Xi will be the next to collapse - he, like ZL, looks so malnurished and sickly it's painful to watch his performances because it's obvious he's suffering - is it going to take the death of one, or more, of these actors for people to WAKE UP to the deadly effects of these deadly (not beautiful) beauty standards.

I often wondered why zhang ling he is everywhere non stop this year. I share your worries completely. It’s alarming to see how both Zhao Lusi and Zhang Linghe are being pushed to their limits by their management companies. The sheer number of projects they take on seems unsustainable, and I can’t help but notice that Zhang Linghe appears to be losing some weight. I hope I’m wrong. It’s sad to me that these companies prioritize profit over the health and well being of their artists, treating them more like products than people. People really need to shine a light on this issue so that these young artists can have the space to rest and recover.

She didn't have a stroke. She was diagnosed with Dissociative (conversion) Disorder with Anxiety Condition. This all can be traced back to the abuses she had experienced since beginning of her career.

Bai Lu is close to Rosy's circle of friends nothing wrong with that, and Bai Lu's best friend at the event was Luo Yunxi who has health trouble of his own. Just like Rosy, Lulu is overworked and disappointed by being slighted in seatings last minute in that event, and she left early after collecting the no value trinket that was only there for those physically attending. Bai Lu was there and showing her discomfort and probable exasperation that despite her friend's accident, she is pressured into doing things such as this appearance or playing 4 dramas back to back with no rest. No consideration for her health either! Rosy could not attend for health reasons as everybody knows, and that must have been on Lulu's mind too; they used to chat and laugh together at previous events of that sort.
I don't understand. Would you like Rosy to be cast with Dylan Wang? It's not up to her, you know? Castings are not decided by FL.
If this former abuse happened back in 2019, that would put ZL at about 21, and very early in her career. Of course, she would be afraid to say anything, and the effect would be so damaging. She is an amazing actress. That clip of the scene of her in a wheelchair trying to stand was from an improvisation workshop. Even the director/teacher was crying at the end of the assigned scene. She amazed me at the ability to go from calm to absolute heaving sobbing in a matter of minutes. I hope the netizens will back off on criticizing her weight and appearance. She obviously has lost a lot of weight and that can be dangerous for someone as petite as she is. She needs all the love and support we can give to get through this health crisis.

Hi 👋. Happy New Years to you and your family! Thank you for covering the entire ZLS fiasco. My heart still hurts because of everything and I don't even follow her or really watch many of her dramas. But just as one human being who knows about medical malpractice (and chronic neurological illnesses) and human misdeeds to another, I feel for her. I really hope she gets justice and the proper medical treatment that she deserves. She needs a good neurological specialist to deal with what she's going through right now and not to return to the entertainment industry until that doctor gives the complete all clear. I hope she leaves that agency and sues them for every penny they have. If she can't bring criminal charges against them maybe she can do something civilly like negligence for failing to get her medical treatment for four days before she completely collapsed. This is just so sad and disheartening.
I think black and white forest could be slightly higher because I believe I gave it a 7.5; the actors acting was very good, but the plot was choppy and messy. As for Riverside, I gave it a 9.5. I think it did a phenomenal job in a lot of things and the actors really did a good job. There were a few bumps in the road but the score definitely should've been in the upper 8s on DB.
That drama with WRC that wrapped, they started filming mid to late September actually not in October according to drama wiki and what he said on his post. So I'm looking forward to that one and a whole bunch that released posters and videos for the New Year's. I think I have be passionately in love on my watchlist, but I'm not sure I have to check. I may look into low IQ crime as that actor is very good and you are right, it's the first time I've seen him in a leading role and the drama looks interesting. C-netz make so much noise over a shirtless scene like they've never seen a man without a shirt before. The show is good and we finally reached double digits so I'm looking forward to where it goes from here. The FL is still a little too ditzy, but I hope she grows into her own at some point. IMO: ZL is suffering from exhaustion, abuse, and most importantly, malnutrition - she has lost too much weight, has no body fat or muscle mass - so her body will take the nutrients it needs from her brain and internal organs. Why the "beauty standards" of this industry requires human beings to look like anime characters is beyond realistic or reasonable - it is sadistic and criminal - we will see more medical and mental collapses of beloved actors and actresses if this trend does not stop - I fear Luo Yun Xi will be the next to collapse - he, like ZL, looks so malnurished and sickly it's painful to watch his performances because it's obvious he's suffering - is it going to take the death of one, or more, of these actors for people to WAKE UP to the deadly effects of these deadly (not beautiful) beauty standards.
Luo Yunxi had an accident before Til the End of the Moon and also acting is not his primary occupation.
Dilraba too is way too thin. When you look at a person, and there are bones that you can see that you shouldn't see, that's a big problem.

I often wondered why zhang ling he is everywhere non stop this year. I share your worries completely. It’s alarming to see how both Zhao Lusi and Zhang Linghe are being pushed to their limits by their management companies. The sheer number of projects they take on seems unsustainable, and I can’t help but notice that Zhang Linghe appears to be losing some weight. I hope I’m wrong. It’s sad to me that these companies prioritize profit over the health and well being of their artists, treating them more like products than people. People really need to shine a light on this issue so that these young artists can have the space to rest and recover.

Wow, about the news about Zhao LuSi. Depression is such an insidious disease, showing up in so many disguises that many people don't even know it of their own friends, much less us drama fans who only see the glamour and the smiles. LuSi looks very ill in her New Year photos but I'm glad she's eating (even though the way she did it is worrisome to me). I wish her well and hope she will be in good health soon.
I want to thank you for you hard work through 2024. You're my go-to channel for C-entertainment news--concise and informative. I sometimes do miss your earlier style of mixing it up with reviews/chitchat, but it's all good.
Not watching Dafeng yet. It's probably going to be #1 next week because of the water scene, right? LOL.
