Zara Warm Black is a great alternative for TF Tobacco Vanille.
It’s funny that not many of these reviewers keep up with Zara fragrances. They are sleeping on views.
I've used Missoni for years and love it, but have never likened it to the Chanel fragrance. I need to compare the two. I've never picked up on a similarity between them. Missoni is probably my top compliment grabber. And for some reason, only young guys in their 20's have complimented it and asked what it is. Unusual! (I'm in my 50's and wear it often) Great review! Another alternative to PDM Layton is ; Costume National I . It is super long lasting and has a strong projection.

Shades Blue is an incredible alternative for BdC edt, the opening is rough around the edges like many clones. But it smells (and performs) great after that.
Guerlain Vetiver is my favorite Vetiver fragrance and I sampled a lot of them, high end too. The refined tobacco note gives the fragrance a classy twist. As a woman, I wear it often.

I've owned Bleu de Chanel twice in the past (50ml bottles) but really, since I've been into fragrances in a big way (around 4 years) I just find it so dull (not a frag snob either, love my 'cheapies' more than anything!). I'm surprised it's so popular still amongst enthusiasts, of course for those 'normal people' searching for one versatile scent it's more understandable, especially as price would be less of an issue for someone with only one or two fragrances.
Idk, Bleu de Chanel smells incredible to me. Especially the EDT and EDP. I truly think they will be timeless mens scents. EDT is so fresh and woody, and the EDP is just a gorgeous fruitier version. One of the best DNAs ever made IMO, and there’s a reason it’s popular I guess!

I own a ton of fragrances and BDC edp is around third place for compliment getters, PDM Greeneley being top.
I really like the way BDC smells. Edp for normal wear pops more / and parfum for special occasions as it is a little richer-smoother.

Great list 👌. I keep giving bottles of Zara 9.0 away as soon as I get them. For some reason 9.0, to my nose, really emphasizes the slightly off-putting "cooked carrots" smell that some get with Uomo Intense.

Missoni Pour Homme is amazing 🔥 smells more like BDC edt than edp but it’s very nice👌🏽 fresh, but strong enough to pull of in somewhat cool weather. Great atomizer and magnetic cap comes in clutch. Beautiful fragrance

@@markdemory890 Wave never caught my attention because it gets compared to Versace Pour Homme and I already own the Versace. I feel like it would be redundant to own both. Missoni Pour Homme I bought because I don’t own BDC and I wanted a cheaper alternative. And I am not disappointed 💯

I like both Tom Ford and Guerlain Vetiver. Tom Ford is definitely cleaner, freshly scent. Where as Guerlain is more mature a little throwback but not dated. Performance for both are great also. You can’t go wrong with either. Always look forward to your videos. 😉.
Side note: that bomber jacket you are wearing is awesome. I’d love to see a pairing video - best frag for this awesome jacket.. line em up!!
Shades Blue is meant to be a much better clone from Armaf for BDC. Apparently Al Haramain's Amber Oud Blue and Afnan Turathi Blue are also extremely close. I do own the Missoni though and really enjoy it.
Turathi Blue is supposed to be closer to Bvlgari Tygar.

Zion by Alexandria perfume is the best Clone of the Elysium available in the market yet
Gotta try Blue Sapphire by Samy Andraus. It’s like Elysium w a punch, but the dry down smells almost spot on and it lasts a bit longer in my opinion. It’s 🔥 for real and cheap.

Not to harp on this point, but it’s always better (if possible) to skip the cheap synthetic clones and instead save up and buy the OG frag. Eventually you’ll probably get the OG anyway so just skip bloating up the collection with cheapies, which is something I learned too late.

I agree for the most part, skip the clones and get the real deal. But there are a few cheapies that are originals and in their own lane that are worth getting

Ash mentioned to make sure you get the Tobacco version of the Al Haramain. Here's what the others are:
Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge = BR 540
Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold = Xerjoff Erba Pura.
Lattafa Ana Abiyed = Xerjoff Erba Pura
Lattafa Ana Abiyed Rouge = BR540
@HBL W. nah, not really. Ana abyedh is more vanilla/musk and overly sweet, also way-way-WAAAY less fruity and fresh. I was not able to wear it, as it is so cloying. Al Haramain is a huge step up from that.
Also, Al Haramain Amber Oud Bleu - seems to be BDC clone.

hi sir Ash, may I just suggest something to review, these are cheap alternatives too, Luxodor Prince (Creed Aventus), Luxodor Shogun (Bleu de Chanel), Luxodor Loyal Agar (PDM Layton), also with Fragrance World Imperium (Roja Parfums Elysium)
Mercedes Benz Cologne is very close to Dior homme cologne and Missoni Wave to Chanel Allure Sport
Insurrection Wild is a beauty and is in the top 100 at Parfumo. 👍🏻💯 Even a niche snob would be blown away until he learned about the $23 price tag 🏷

There is something weird going on, i have been looking on online sites for new fragrances, yesterday i noticed on notino that they carry Stronger with you Only, the weird thing is that they did not mark it as new and it's price it's already in line with the other Stronger with you variants. Is it a flop? Like the fragrance is that bad ? I mean Armani is a big house and they did not even bother to mark it as a new fragrance. I am from Romania btw

Vocal Performance M057 gets pretty close to Layton, it's only $2499 and you can actually find it. I can't find Detour Noir anywhere, so for me it's either a 9ml decant from Scent Split or the Vocal Performance Layton clone. Some others from Vocal Fragrances that I like are their Terre D'Hermes and CH Bad Boy clones. Really not bad. I did NOT like their clone of Herod, Sauvage, Eros Flame or Profumo. To me, their Layton, Terre D'Hermes and Bad Boy clones are the best. Hope that helps.

Al Haramain Amber Oud Blue Edition is an awesome alternative to BDC. It's more in between the edt and the edp version

I have a great BDC Parfum clone by the french house Geparlys. It is called Yes I am the King Parfum. Its all what Bleu de Chanel Parfum is minus the ISO E Super. Super well done, high quality, beautiful bottle with a magnetic cap :)

Guerlain vetiver, Imo, is much better than Grey Vetiver. I own them both & I am enjoy them both, but Guerlain wins out, for me.

Ash you should really try out this another beastly Layton alternative called Loyal Agar from the house of Luxodor. And unlike the Detour Noir, the presentation is also top notch and so is the juice. Pls review it and let us know your thoughts on it

I think the main reason he doesn't suggest it is because of the availability on the main or rather reputable discounters. I got mine off ebay. Nobody amongst the big 4 fragnet, fragx, fragbuy, aura, has it.

Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud is a great frag that gets compared to Oud Bouquet by Lancome.
@Goldman Mayer Amschel Rothschild it's a beast. Sweet heavy almost chocolate praline, oud, and light rose.
You should review some TazaryachCreations from Etsy, those are kinda cool. For home made the quality is nice and there are some interesting scent’s

I'd go for Versace Dylan Blue, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon or Dior Sauvage.
Try Interlude Man by Amouage. You can easily overspray. No worries. They will certainly notice you on work :D

I own Chanel Platinum Égoïste and also Tabac Man Gravity (the newest in the line and don't know if you're able to get it yet in the US). As I was once wearing the Chanel PE one day and the gravity the other day, I actualy thought the Chanel PE was still projecting a bit of my skin. I tried them side by side and they have simularities, but Gravity is definitaly not a clone. Maybe, just maybe Gravity was inspired by Chanel PE?? They are different enough to own them both, but if some of you would like a cheap alternative to Chanel PE which gives you some of the same fibes; check out Tabac Man Gravity. Also longevity is solid, and when the scent matures a bit, the agarwood gets more prominent. The first few times I was wearing it, I could hardly smell the note.

A great replica for uomo and L'Homme is Armaf Futura La homme
They put out Zara 9.0 Extreme in 2021 (or 2020) there is less iris and it gets compared with Guerlain L'homme Ideal intense. Meanwhile the new Zara 6.0 smells really iris-y and gets reminds me of Dior Homme.

Hi, the 9.0 extreme is a different parfum that smell like cherry, almost like Guerlain ideal EDP. The classic 9.0 is the Valentino uomo clone but nowadays doesn't last too much unfortunately as you said. The older formulation had a beast longevity but isn't available anymore :/
I just got Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition and allll I get is cinnamon on this!!!... no honey... no vanilla!!... just cinnamon bomb... and I'm not the only one that has this experience... buyer beware... doesn't smell like TF Tobacco Vanille

Missoni Pour Homme smells very different from BDC, almost nothing similar between them for my nose. Same about Roja Elysium and Hugo Reversed - the last not even close to the first.

I must have gotten a bad batch of insurrection because it is the worst scent I’ve ever experienced. It was so bad my wife made me go to another room lol. Is it suppose to smell like an ash tray? Any similar experiences?
