Brody, you just got to show us all the greatest sweet shops on Kauai. First it was the crepes food truck and now it's caramel, what's next??? We can't wait. We will see you in March, I hope. My brother is going to be in heaven in this shop.
Love This!! Thank you for spotlighting local businesses that we can support from a distance! I ordered treats for ourselves. our friends and family too! Mahalo! Blessings!
Great video! Now another place we'll have to check out when we are able to return to Kauai for another visit! I see the Kauai Sweet Shoppe is close to Tip Top, so we have 2 places to go to!
Aloha Alvin! They don't currently have a store front. Their actual retail shop is located at the Kilohana Plantation...which is currently still closed since tourism hasn't returned. So for now the only way to get the caramels is through their online shop. There are a few shops here on island that carry their caramels too. Thank you for watching!
We had their treats the last time we were in Kauai, absolutely wonderful and we would reccomend it to anyone to go there. Keep the videos coming for all of us that is patiently waiting to come back to kauai. 🤙❤
Aloha Erica! Thank you for watching. We hope you enjoyed your caramels! We are a little behind on comments. Talking about the re-opening is a tough subject for us to address in videos for a variety of reasons. That's part of the reason why we've been MIA lately. As you may know, Kauai has opted out of the safe travels program so we are back to a mandatory quarantine...as of now.
Sorry I missed the premiere memo! Another awesome video Brodi, great job. I knew the name sounded familiar. We actually stopped in to the retail store at Kilohana and enjoyed some of their yummy treats when we were last there.
On Hawaii Time They arrived today in MA and oh man are they buttery delicious and fresh. I already had three. All equally delicious but pumpkin spice aroma was awesome. Say thanks to KSS for us. They threw in a couple other flavors as a gift. Love it
I have 2 questions please : 1) I saw an OHT yesterday when you and Autum decided to drive to 'the end of the road' and you stated it had been a year sense the last time you'd been there. How is that possible? It is a must do when I visit Kauai'i...even knowing I didnt have a parking permit, and know I'd be turned around. The lady in the booth was so sad to turn us around...I said 'it's ok, I just wanted to come see your smile. And what a smile it was. I guess it is hard to comprehend the difference in touring to see as much in 14days compared to living day to day. (having moved to a town with less than 9k pop, I might not even start my car several days out of the week. LOL - unReal.) 2) Any projection or rumors pertaining to travel to Kauai'i for 2021? Aloha Always From Sweet Home, OR.
Hahaha...yes it is hard to believe but getting to the other side of the island is a rare occurrence. I say 2021 is a go. Make your plans. Sounds like they are going to re-open the island on October 15th to those that have a negative test within 72 hours of travel....at least that's the current plan in place as of today. As we have all seen, these things can change. Thank you for always watching and supporting our channel!
I go there a lot! Although I never had caramels 🤷🏼♂️ I’ll try one. I’ll volunteer as Stirrer although I can’t promise they’ll be any left when I’m done with it😂😂😱🤷🏼♂️ i’m pretty sure the caramel wrapping machine was built by Willy Wonka himself😂😂🕺🏻
Tried to place an order, unfortunately you don’t ship to Canada. I guess we will just have to return to Kauai when Covid ends. Don’t know how we missed this when we were there for the month of February 2019.
Hawaii is scheduled to reopen for tourists in a couple of days, do you plan on doing a video in the Lihue airport showing the volume of tourists who arrive, and the procedures that tourists will have to go through when the get to Hawaii now?

It's 'invert sugar', a mixture of two simple sugars-glucose and fructose, made by heating sugar, water and a small amount of citric acid. Key component in candy making. :)
This is the SWEETEST video you have done by far! Thanks! 🤙🏻

What was the clear thick ingredient? Looked like water but thick
Looked like corn syrup to me.

Do you know if they sell vegan caramel candy?
Aloha Jesse! No, I don't believe so but you could check out their website and send them a message to find out for sure. www.kauaisweetshoppe.com
On Hawaii Time I will. Mahalo!
Are you two ok? Miss in your videos, hope all is well 😎
Yes we are doing good! Thank you for checking in on us Lynn :) New video posted today!
