One of the coolest and most positive guys out there, and a sick dancer to boot.
He's so humble, grounded, and optimistic!! What a great representative for the culture of breakdancing.
Dance from the 90s still solid.
and your prediction was right! he got gold! 🥇🥇🏅🏅
Facts
Seems like a nice guy. Great ambassador for the sport / art form.
Canada, you sent the best. He is really very very good. Excellent body control and speed, musicality, artistic and fun.
So inspiring !
Phil is a true hero
Congratulations WIZ!!!!!
Good for him! 💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯
Go Canada 🇨🇦 you done a great job. To win the gold. From British Columbia, Canada. Gen
It's Go Phil! The athlete comes first dude.
Such a sweetheart ❣️
I saw him a couple of days ago! He was actually very good.
Great for him❤❤
You got this !
I know nothing about breaking but the sample clips looked very creative, artistic and some what rhythmic in addition to the obvious athleticism!
This aged perfectly ❤
He got it!
Rooting for you!
Best of luck Champ, and remember what got you here... Gold = more Girls !
The one and only mens gold medal in breakdancing ever.
Yup and he won gold. Truly deserving! For once the Olympic got it right. 🎉
Good for him that he is so passionate about dancing. He looks very talented. I hope he wins a gold. That would be quite an accomplishment.
But how is breakdancing a sport?
If you don't see the athleticism behind it, particularly after watching this video, I can't imagine any explanation sufficing. Breakdancing should speak for itself. Perhaps it's the street garb and the history of it growing on the streets that makes it hard to see. That was something I wondered until I realized how athletic and obviously gymnastic it is, similar to a floor routine mixed with a pommel horse.
@@joetunon I see the athleticism. But thats like saying Tango or Quickstep or parkour should be in the Olympics. Its more of an physical art than a competitive sport. But since it is an Olympic sport, then they should add ball room dancing and parkour.
@@AL.BUNDY. Parkour SHOULD be in the Olympics
Man his story is attractive
Look up formless team it an team that form one of the best as of couple years now and Philip and many other countries are also in that group some of the best bboy n bgirl together
One day, legend has it. He may move out of his mums basement and get a proper job.. I dont believe them 🤣😂
I did it to get girls too😂
Do they need a coach like other sports?
Yes, I had a coach when I represented my entire region back when I was 17-18 (one of like, only 2 girls on the team) and that was in an Eastern European poverty-stricken country, that had much less opportunities that we have here in the west. However, in the states, I noticed that due to a ton of racism and elitism breaking does not get any support at all, so they probably didn't get a coach until they got to the Team USA or BC One. which is a shame, it's the motherland of breaking.
He's cute, hope he's over 17 for two obvious reasons.
He's married with a kid.
I love watching it but I'm not good at all. Hardest dance I reckon. I can't even do a flare XD
It''s B- Boy not breakdance. Why does mainstream media constantly say breakdancer instead of B-Boy?
It's just more general to say breaking that bboying or bgirling.
Same thing happens with the other hip hop elements like graffiti/writing and MCing/rapping. Just a more formal way for people to classify things and put it on wikipedia i guess
It was called breakdancing long before anything else
@@dh12. The artform is breaking or breakdancing and the person is a b-boy. That's my take on it.
if cloud isnt competing then the best isnt there..
More Asians in breaking, the inventors didn't expect that 😅
Asian males have the perfect sizes for break dancing, 5'1 to 5'9.
Phil Wizard, Hong 10, Shigekix, Issin, 671, and Ami are some of the best in the world.
Just like bodybuilder, impress girl but got dude.
THEY BETTER PLAY RUN DMC "ITS LIKE THAT" AT THE OLYMPIC
He made up that name.
#WalmartFlipKart.
I only wish I could be proud. This is the beginning of the end for the Olympics. I will be a gold medalist in the winter Olympics in lip-syncing and a gold in shadow puppetry
Wait a minute! Break dancing is considere3d an Olympic sport!!!??? What the actual f....??😖
Theres a medal for anything
@@michaelmcclenon6663 Bruh, breakdance athletes put an insane amount of work into their art. Breakers like bboy Pocket ramps up to 12 hours a day leading up to events. The athleticism is insane.
You should make fun of horseback riding if you want to make fun of something. What athletic capability do they need?
Try doing a simple flare. It's the most basic move in breakdancing and gymnastics. Then you'll quickly realize the athleticism needed to pull off those complex moves you see.
In ancient Greece, sports and art combine were to impress Apolo. Same question about curling, equestrian 🐎
@@___beyondhorizon4664Curling and equestrian events are actually sports - not dance 🤦🏼♀️
seems like everything is in the olympics. no standards. wack
You try doing a flare or a head spin.
@@EganCraft have you seen my meat spin? it's a head spin too
Did you watch it with your eyes closed? Did you not see how he trains?
자랑스러운 월드 챔피온🌏😁 W. CHAMPIONE☯️❤️❤️
Congrats on Gold Phil Wizard! Absolutely inspired, amazing Olympic sets. That handstand call out against Shigekix!!
My money is on Hong 10! Good luck Phil Wizard
How much ,money did you lose.
Breakers rule!!!
Another gold for Korea!!!
You mean Canada? Lol
@@chinitopinoy1726 he is Korean. Canada is a camp.
@@ezrhino100 he is Korean but he won the medal for Canada and not Korea which makes your statement false. 😂
@@chinitopinoy1726 Canada is a tax colony. Korea is a country.
