Great video. I got lucky on my inherited IRA. My Dad passed away in 2020 when I was 59 and in peak earning in 37% bracket. Thanks to IRS turtle speed, RMDs were not required for 2020 through 2024. RMDs start in 2025. I retired this year and are now in the 12% bracket. I will defer SS giving me 6 years to deplete the accounts under the 10 year rule.
You provided a couple freebies, which are valuable for people who haven't really looked into how they are taxed. However, I think the most valuable freebie for people who are trying to plan their future is this: I know you are doing tax planning well into the future. What marginal tax rates are you plugging into your projections? I know about the rates returning to the 2017 levels in 2026 (if Congress does nothing), but what are you thinking for 2030 or 2035 or 2040/ Obviously, no one KNOWS, but you must be making projections.
HOW can you NOT have more views on UA-cam??? What is WRONG with UA-cam! GHEEZE!!! THIS is a GREAT CHANNEL! Makes you learn and THINK real good!
