I needed this. I have been waiting on the Lord for many years to answer many prayers. God has given promises to me not only those in the scripture but in the life of those I pray for. I have gone thru by the grace and power of the perfect work of Jesus. The being set in a place alone is the hardest part. God never forsakes us, He never leaves us, but I feel alone. This is the part of being human, but faith must be my reality, I have hope. I am learning.

We feel like we are dying so let go of whatever the flesh keeps holding onto
So many in the Bible especially in the Old Testament would have died if their prayers were not answered right away; Widow at Zeraphaf, woman with issue of blood, children of Israel at the Red Sea. Peter in prison and more. So much emphasis on waiting but there are as many incidents of God acting quickly. Could it be that many, including me. are praying amiss?
