    Thanks professor! I'm currently enrolled in a design of experiments course and we're covering mixed models. We're also using the lme4 library. Your videos helped during math stats too!

    Hi Prof, This is the best video to make me understand GLMM. Thank you. I got a problem if you could help me. I am running my GLMM model but it is giving me this error that I could not solve. "Error in qr.solve(Uhat) : singular matrix 'a' in solve". I am just a beginner. Please help. Thank you

    Thanks Prof Knudson for the lucid presentation. Can the GLMM also be used for repeated measures on a binary/multinomial outcome? My subjects (patients) were measured repeatedly with time-varying covariates at each measure time in a survival analysis (discrete time even history model). Based on your video, the time-varying covariates would all be entered as 'random effects' in the model (not fixed parameters), correct?

      Love it! My recommendation is to get exposure to a topic early so that your brain has time to process it. Even if you don't *try* to think about it over the next couple months, your brain will be more prepared for the course material. Good luck!
