A while ago I heard the quote, "discipline over motivation" and it's so true! If we wait for motivation, it most likely will never happen. Instead we must be disciplined and simply begin.
Slowly but surely I'm doing the same. I have my bedroom closet left one my back issue is better. I agree that you feel so refreshed after minimizing your spaces. Great job! ❤

Do you find yourself wanting to buy new things often or are you able to stick with the minimalist mindset and not buy more things? Shopping and sweets are therapy for me which makes this part challenging so wanted to ask for your thoughts!

the adjustable bed frame that goes up and down is from flexispot! (i got the split king size and just put my king mattress on it and it works great) 😜 amzn.to/3ZXeIL3 and as for my headboard, we actually made it! ☺️
I just think it’s very… unique for Americans to have shoes inside the house. That would be so disrespectful here in Sweden to go inside someone’s home in shoes and I could never wear shoes inside my house. Shoes belong outside. 😅

I have absolutely no arches and have worn prescription orthotic inserts for the past 29 years (since I was 20). I cannot go any length of time without shoes! If I am just going to someone's house for dinner, I can deal with the pain of just being in socks. But longer than that I have to be wearing shoes. I do have shoes that have never been outside so at least I am not tracking in dirt!
I can't speak for everyone here in Canada, but it's the same thing here. I would never dream of visiting someones home and not taking my shoes off at the door, and same goes for my own home, shoes come off at the door, and we don't wear them throughout the house. Thinking about the amount of germs on our shoes makes me feel ick about wearing them in our home, but I feel like socks or slippers are so much more comfortable anyway. 👌In terms of workout shoes, if they're clean and have never been worn outside, then I don't mind wearing those indoors.
