WWE 2k23 MyGM - "The Draft + Playing Our First Show!" (#01)
In "#WWE2k23" "MyGM" we take the reins of Monday Night #RAW and verse #Smackdown as we try and become the top GM in the #WWE! Can we successfully book the best shows and PLE's? Will we have the best ratings? Follow along as we try to become the best General Manager in "WWE 2k23 MyGM".
It’s a very small wish but if they would patch in the Local talent to be used in other modes would be hilarious 😂
The only way my gm mode will be actually any good is to fuse universe mode with my gm mode. Makes no sense why they wouldn't just make it happen.
I think they won't because the game will have too much replay value.

This mode has a serious budget issue, you should have a way bigger roster starting out
The point is start small end big. In the og gm mode u only started with like 10 wrestlers
Not really, it’s learning how to $ manage and using what you have efficiently, gm mode from before had the same layout

Nah you just have to not get 4 high priced specialists. If you budget right & get a good roster to choose from, you can stretch it out. I usually had at least 8 men & 8 women with 2k22 & that’s with less money

It would have been awesome if they allowed custom show and the ability to start with a full roaster of CAW and local talent
I need a tag team Montez Ford and Angelo were right there.
I think it would be cool to have a GM battle mode. Where each GM's wreslers go against each other instead of who has the better show.

Watch the superstars classes an match them accordly their sinergy, also try to put a heel vs a baby face or the stars of your fights will be seriously affected

I'm playing wwe game after a long time.. after 2k19. And i am confused with this GM mode.. why aren't all superstars listed in the draft? Why? How do we bring them in the list?
They literally made no improvement on gm mode. Svr 06, 07 and 08 all had the best gm modes and each one was an improvement
You played 0 minutes of 2k22 MyGM if you think there’s no improvements in 23

Classes play a big role in the matches you need to match them up better
Is it possible to change the class of a wrestler mid season? I know you can edit them before starting, but wondering if they can be swapped or changed mid season?

@@SharpShooter700 I’ve also seen a workaround where you set everyone on the roster as a specialist and that way you don’t even need to worry about the classes (although I think this would affect quality of the matches but I’m not 100%)
@Joshua Anderson between setting them all as specialist and lowering everyone's popularity the game is actually good. Just set the elite tier to 60 , slightly above mid card to 55 , mid card high 40s lower 50s and the jobbers to 40 and below and you have enough cash to fill a good roster.

So we can use Kurt as a gm in gm mode but can’t use him as a wrestler in gm mode?
I have him unlocked but he is not on the gm roster to draft to a brand 🤷🏽♂️
Might be able to if you make a custom draft pool.
@@travisboyle285 I made a custom one and went thru it a few times to see if he would show up randomly or at the beginning when I started the draft but nothing yet. I turned on all wrestlers to be active and he wasn’t on the list, so hopefully they’ll patch it in or something 🤷🏽♂️

How’d you get Roman and Seth Rollins I keep restarting the draft and it keeps missing out on some of the top current wrestlers right now
Ugh... I hate early releases. Most of us need to wait until the end of the week to play.
I pre order due to bad weather I have to wait longer should of got digital copy SMH lol
I'm gonna be waiting until the end of year when it has a major price drop or ends up on gamepass just for the reason my GM mode is the only mode I like 🙂

MyGM would be better with a bigger budget. I thought 2K did their research. In the past it was like a 10,000,000 budget

Lower the popularity on all your roster. Lower star level equals lower contract price.

They have em, u just have to do like the tag titles last year. Have to add them in by having a match for it first. Can't actually assign it.
They are in the game. Put a random 1v1 and make it a title match.
The AI picked Vince as their first pick. There is no logic there. It’s literally just them making random picks. I was so hyped for the return of GM mode and they completely ruined it and didn’t fix it much this year smh
The 1st pick is random, but everything is calculated to fit the meta. Basically it follows the recommendations
i.e. The AI will take a random face Bruiser then take a random heel fighter that is mentioned in it's recommendation etc.
Then it will take lower popularity picks to fill the midcard
So by that, it is actually very logical.
@@LeKNG And the first pick is not actually completely random: the AI generally decides how large a roster it wants and then gears its picks around the target cost per star. (It will generally start out picking towards the higher end of the roster, though.)
Actually the Ai bought people with classes that fit, this guy didnt he just bought the most popular ones
vince was 60 popularity thats all that matters in gm mode so it was actually a good pick
