I haven't made a bison or pronghorn, but they would be a lot of fun. So far, the only Western critters I've done are the wolf, moose, deer, and the two bears.
Always interesting and always informative. You are such a scientist. It is a little windy but warm, so I think I am going to take the boys to the dog park. It is always good to see you. Yesterday I saw a life size bison sculpture made out of steel. The artist done a great job; so life like.
I'm currently making a costume and used the wood glue method with a tiny bit of water added (saw your original video before this one) and while it feels completely dry i expected it to feel firmer almost like a shell.. is that a wrong expectation? My armature is pretty big and made of PVC, wire hangers and hardware cloth. Then that all i covered with duct tape followed with the paper mache. I applied it with a brush in a thin layer on the structure then brushed on top of torn recycled newspaper (like you use to wrap glassware). Does this all sound like the right way to do it? Would soaking the paper in the wood glue be better? Thanks in advance! I love your videos ❤

You're welcome. 😊
Have you ever sculpted an American Bison or Pronghorns? Animals from the American West?

I wish we had a dog park! I love the town I live in, but the dogs and I go around the same blocks all the time. That bison sculpture sounds nice. 😊
How's your frog doing outside has it been a year yet? I love your designs always beautiful
It's doing great. You can see an update video here: ua-cam.com/video/FFJz28S1JoU/v-deo.html

That sounds like it should work. I do tend to dip my paper in the glue, but it's possible that you just need another layer or two.
